The Lord's Prayer: Oktoberfest Version

Some of you may recall the series of alternative versions of the Lord's Prayer that I posted earlier this year in February and March. Well, I just found another one that's perfect for this month's Oktoberfest! Here it is for your enjoyment (and remember, be sure to drink and pray responsibly!) --

Our Lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hallowed be thy drink.
I will be drunk
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foamy heads
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not to incarceration
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer,
The bitter and the lager,
Forever and ever.
Barmen.

That is too cute and funny. Thanks for sharing that with us. I once worked in a tavern so I saw lots of Lager in my lifetime.

I don't supose that song would mean the same for non-alcholic beer.
