Ten Years Ago Today

No words are needed.

No words suffice.

May all the victims who died rest in peace.

May all the survivors find peace and healing.

I just wrote a similar post Debra. You can feel the world still hurting today. I do hope that there can be some peace now.

You know watching the re-broadcast of the news coverage is almost like it happening all over again- still very fresh.

Amen, Debra.

Did you hear the American national anthem the way the 2 women sang it at Gander, Nfld? A lullaby, it was beautiful, haunting.

I give that an Amen. Sums it up.

Amen, but there is still so much work to do. I will never understand why people can never comprehend tolerance.

My religion is better. No, MINE is better. NO, their's is better. Religion....the root of all angst and war and killing in the world.

Why can't people realize that no matter what religion you practice (or not) that we are all just trying to get to the same place, but we're just taking different paths?

September 11 doesn't make me sad; it just makes me pissed off.

This country needs to heal and continue on with it's life...too many people keep looking back instead of forward...yes it happened, and it was awful, but it is still happening all over the world...people in other countries move on, why can't we...

Amen. I was glad that most of the media coverage was respectful and tasteful. Instead of picking at the scab, it was more like tracing the scar in remembrance.
