My Rare One, That Sweet Talker

Not too long ago I had another birthday. It left me feeling somewhat over the hill and worse for wear.

But My Rare One (who is a few years older than I am) made it all better.

"You'll always be jailbait to me," she said.

oh yeah! happy belated birthday, bee goddess!

hell, I'mma turning 62 in 2 weeks and I feel 40! fuck chronological aging!

Happy belated birthday, Debra. Age is just a number.

I also take no notice of chronological aging and birthdays. Hence it doesn't bother me if I'm forgotten. I do find that others aren't so complacent and are bothered when I forget theirs.

Ah, perspective!

Happy belayed birthday!

Happy Belated Birthday, Debra! I understand. I wasn't thrilled with 45 but when I realized it was more about how I thought, not the actual number, that made me feel better. Good job Rare One!

As my sister once said when I complained of another birthday and another year older: But aren't you glad you're actually having a birthday, as opposed to the alternative?

Happy belated Birthday ;)

That's funny

and interesting enough, I've always been with older women. Though the biggest difference was only six years.

Belated Birthday wishes to you. May you have a blessed year.

"jailbait", eh? I wonder if I dare try that line out on my wife.

How nice it is to see one's self through a loved one's eyes. We're too hard on ourselves most of the time.

Every birthday I have, I look in the mirror and say to myself "you really are way too old to be wearing all this crap" and I am, but it doesn't stop me. Anyway I've noticed I'm getting more and more invisible, even with it, so who cares. No one else does. So why should I? Sod it.

Happy birthday to you. Just be grateful you are alive. Enjoy it, celebrate life.

a belated happy birthday. You can't ask for more than to know you will always be hot to your other. I always tell my wife that no matter how old she is she will always be my young wife.
It is only the perception of the one's we care about that important.
Again, the best to you birthday and every day.

This would be hysterically funny, Debra, if the headlines here in the US this morning didn't have Trump closing in on Clinton. I may not return home from my trip to Victoria!
