reminded me of one of my favourite things to watch.... it's basically various things going through a hydraulic press and being crushed...... or the guy in america who unblocks drains - mesmerising
@ Mike -- Good ask! I suspect the GIFs have been rotated and that the actual pasta machines are horizontally aligned, so that the cut extruded pasta will fall down into a bin or perhaps conveyer belt or somethng for the next step, which is probably drying to harden it.
I really appreciate all of your daily posting. Thank you very much - I've dropped all news and political sites. Your site gives me just a taste of dopamine in the morning! Peace, ya'll.
...thanks, I'm a;ways interested in how things are made!
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn’t want to be seeing these if you have had a tad too much to drink.

ReplyDeletePut one on the big screen next time my brain is too overactive.
At first I thought the pasta shapes were falling onto the metal plate. Not the swiftest this morning:)
ReplyDeleteThat was so satisfying.*Sigh*
ReplyDeleteI never knew that was the way pasta was made into its various shapes. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteThese are almost hypnotic.
ReplyDeleteFun to watch!
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how they got the shapes and how they managed to be so perfectly uniform.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot faster than when I make pasta! Very clever design.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how they made those shapes...oh but they can't compare to my handmade gnocchi, ravioli, and manicotti crepes.
ReplyDeleteI say clever, but what would a Nonna say? Haha.
ReplyDeleteThey are mesmerizing! Really mesmerizing…really…mesmerizing…
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of those things you pushed Play Doh through!
ReplyDeleteWow, who knew that extruding pasta would be creepy and hypnotizing at the same time?

ReplyDeleteInteresting and hypnotic.
ReplyDeleteVery hypnotising
ReplyDeletePut it this way, if I had to work on a factory production line, this would be the best factory for me lol! Betty
ReplyDeleteWhy are they all falling to the bottom of the picture?! 😁

ReplyDelete@ Martita en Espana -- Thank you! If you enjoy my goofy posts, then my job is done!
DeleteIt's the infinite feeling of it that gets me.
ReplyDeleteOkay this is how the various shapes of the pasta are made wow
ReplyDeleteReally interesting and fun to watch 🤗♥️
This is quite mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE that noodle cutter. How much fun. I did recently hunt for one to use at home. I'd like it for bean/seed noodles.
ReplyDeleteKind of creepy but interesting!
ReplyDeleteI find them disturbing! Like worms and creepy things in a graveyard. I had no idea that this was how the pasta shapes were made.
