Canada's Hopes And Dreams Rest With The Oilers Now

In the Stanley Cup playoffs, all the Canadian teams are gone now except the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers have made it to Round 3, the Western Conference Final, against the Dallas Stars. If they defeat Dallas, the Oilers will advance to Round 4 and play for the Stanley Cup itself, against whoever wins the Eastern Conference Final. Fingers crossed!

Now's the time for all fans of the other Canadian teams to get on the Oilers bandwagon! Everyone is welcome! And all you Americans whose teams have been eliminated are welcome too!

Game 1 of the Western Conference Final is tonight! Play La Bamba, Baby!

    2. Yes you would! They have even been up to Canada several times every season for various hockey games. But love the Oilers. I'm certain they are following all of this.

  8. OMG I read the title and thought: TARIFFS!
That's how traumatized I am by Jabba The Orange and his fuckery.
That also tells you how little I know about sports. I like hockey players, though. Perfect trade.

    XOXO

  15. I never gave hockey much thought until I lived in Tampa Bay, and we had the Tampa Bay Lightning. We would go to baseball games, some foot ball games. Always BEER. Every vendor was BEER. Budweiser, or if you were lucky, Full Moon Pale Ale. Then the Lightning came to town and we went to tour the rink where they played. WHISKEY. Everywhere, WHISKEY on tap! Whiskey banners everywhere. That, to me, spoke VOLUMES about the hockey fan, and really explained a LOT about the strength and determination of the fans!

My conclusion: Baseball and football are for pussies.
