  3. They're just attacking to attacking. Drag much like the LGBT is not anything new... it's been around as long as us gay people have been around and even then technically straight men did drag because women couldn't be in public plays at one time. And the forefathers of the United States all wore wigs so there's that.

  7. Definitely concerning themselves with the wrong issues.
Drag queens are not affecting your democracy or freedom. It’s the opposite. Let the drag queens run the show. I’m sure they would do a better job of it.
And we would all look fabulous darlings

  8. I dunno, men wearing dresses and fancy hats and getting in the pulpit to condemn drag, wha'?

  9. OMG Godzilla!!!!
And I did not know that Drag Queens had been to Les Miz! Oh yes.
The No Kings march in Chicago was HUGE. I had not seen so many people march since I went to The Women's March...

    XOXO

  10. It's strange, isn't it? Women have been wearing men's clothes for what? Over a century, yet we still object to men wearing women's. Unless it's men in a kilt. Oh I do love a man in a kilt. Think you should do a post on them.

    1. @ Liz Hinds -- Yes, the fight for women to be able to wear "male attire" like pants was hard-won and involved breaking both legal and social laws. But thanks to our forebears, I've essentially cross-dressed for most of my life without comment or incident.

  16. Great collection, D! I would love to be a Drag King but I'm just not dapper enough. Like John Gray said, 'People don't think I'm gay, I'm too bloody scruffy!'
Still happy to be as Gay as Christmas!

  18. As Mama Ru puts it "We're all born naked. The rest is drag". Happy Pride my friend.

  19. I often wondered how Godzilla walked around in the ocean off the Japan islands. Now I know. It was in platform heels. And they were stylish ones too.

  25. I like the bra one.

There was a TikTok of someone explaining no kings day to Trump. He then proceeded to actually complain about not being a king.

  26. I always loved Bugs Bunny in drag, but when I was a kid I didn't know it was called drag and it never occurred to me that something was supposed to be wrong with it. Men in drag were on TV all the time. Why are people so offended by it now?

    Love,
    Janie

  27. get a bit of cloth.... cut it.... wrap it round yourself..... i mean, it seems pretty fundamental.... how did wrapping it this way or that way become defining or controversial? Function?
