  1. Family values are what is practiced but not what doctrines dictate

  2. That's right, Pete. One of these days I'm gonna call you President Pete instead of Mayor Pete. I love that last photo.

    Love,
    Janie

  3. I remember those business partners! And I think I watched Supermarket Sweep maybe 5 times. Ah, Billy Connolly. I was at the wedding of two women in the late 90s. The twin brother of one was a “best person.” In his toast he said that he and his sister shared a couple of lovers over the years. He didn’t have a mustache. I wonder if the lovers knew.

  6. If that's what Build-A-Bear was I'd have been there on a weekly basis. And you have no idea how the Gulf of gays is actually very appropriate.

  8. I'd vote for Pete, again. He has withdrawn from the race, before the Virginia primary, but he was still on the ballot. I so proud to vote for him.

🥰 IF the US has elections in 2028, Buttigieg is my choice! His calm strength and intelligence and basic goodness and cute family are things I am desperate for! Yet, I am worried for anyone who gets the chance to start the cleanup of the country, these are dangerous times!
Everything the GQP is doing right now is designed to prevent elections. A shithole country under martial law doesn't have Presidential elections. 🤨

  13. Back when I was at uni, one of my friends was a gay Frenchman. He had a great sense of humour and great repartee (being French and all). As a joke, I told him I thought all gays should be sent back to their country. He replied: "Ooooohhh... tell me which country!"

  14. These were all wonderful! Thank you for this moment of respite.
I love Pete. He was a terrific Sec of Transportation and did an amazing job at speaking sense in a senseless time. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.

  16. I have may thoughts on so called Family values, mostly from Christian values. Glad I never send my sons to any religious institution.

  18. I have used so many “for instances “. To try and explain that same sex couples are just as loving and nurturing as heterosexuals.
In fact I pretty much think they do a much better job.
Love is love. And that’s all you need to build a life, and yes raise children if you want to

  19. I would be proud to call Pete Mr. President one day.. but the way this country is going not only is the country not willing to vote for someone gay, someone of color or a women, they also don't want to vote someone for a moral compass. But we can hope. One day.
