π€£ "Hell sent me back!" You knew that was gonna unleash my Monty Python scene recitation skills..."It IS the rabbit!" Now, you'll have to excuse me. I need to go and change my armor. π¬
So ... the person near by their bunnies got out. Two of them. Over the summer. The bunnies have zero interest in being captured to return home and now they go from house to house to get food. Last week they were crawling on me to take apple slices. I didn't try to catch them, they are not wanting to be inside. They are cute though.
One day last week I was in our local pub having a few drinks at happy hour with friends, when I looked over to see you guys sitting at the bar with a rabbit. At first I thought I had too many gins. I later found that it was a therapy rabbit. And he was bellied right up to the bar like his owner.
I read one scary horror stories with bewitched/demonic bunnies. No kidding. They can be sinister creatures, portent of doom, often the familiar of witches.
Bunnies are cute, but I wouldn't want one as a pet. My hair stylist carries her kitty Luca around in a pocket apron, and I get to hold him while my dye is processing. Hey, HRH, I trust cats way more than bunnies! π❤️
I love that knitted glove! Oh, and I had the same thought when I read Watership Down ;-)
ReplyDeleteMe too! Gimme a high-Fiver π«Έπ«·Kris in Ohio
DeleteDid that bunny have to pay full fare on the bus?
ReplyDelete@ Marie Smith -- No, she had to pay full hare!
DeleteFunny. I'm pretty sure that rabbits have secret evil lives too!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. I will remain whimsical. I understand bunnies are challenging house pets.
ReplyDeleteBe Kind ... Of Annoying.
ReplyDeleteYup.
My whimsy is feeling... depleted...
ReplyDelete...they are only cute when they aren't in my garden.

ReplyDeleteOh bunnies are so cute, I want a pocket one. Love the Watership Down one!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid we raised rabbits and I showed mine at 4H. Rabbits are freaky animals, but oh so soft.
ReplyDeleteWe once had a rabbit give birth under a bush in our back yard. Those bunnies were the cutest things ever.
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought, oh, a bunch of cute bunnies until I got to the ones I identify with.
ReplyDelete@ Jackie McGuinness -- I always try to have something for everyone!
DeleteI love Bunnies. They always say Spring to me.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute. We see them every day during our walks and I just never get tired of their cuteness.
ReplyDeleteOh no, not the mice! lol These are great.
ReplyDeleteI'll try whimsical for a while but I don't hold out much hope.
ReplyDeleteANNOYING?! Jeebus, who pissed in your cornflakes this morning, Debra? Now I'm glad I kept my armour polished and mace sharpened...
ReplyDelete@ Tundra Bunny -- Sheesh, I THOUGHT my cornflakes tasted funny! HRH, YOU LITTLE BASTARD!
DeleteWhat do you call a bunny that lives in the tundra?
ReplyDeleteCold.
The bunny mitten is charming. Know anyone who knits?
I like the otherwise bunnies the best.
ReplyDeleteYes, we need that touch of whimsy. And a spot of tea.
ReplyDeletei'LL REMAIN whimsical! loved this... LeeAnna
ReplyDeleteThe first one looks a bit scary, like he's ready to attack. Cute post.
ReplyDeleteFavorite is Watership Down.
ReplyDeleteI am a lot fonder of cute little bunnies now than when I was a young child and rabbit was the only meat on the table for such a long time..
ReplyDeleteI love ❤️ the bunnies, Debra. The be kind of annoying made me laugh π
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of the bouncing sofa bunnies and have been tempted to buy it many times - always stopped in my tracks by my husband lol! Betty
