I've made some wonderful internet friends
over the years through blogging!
I bet you have too!
People who share similar interests,
life experiences, outlooks, or opinions.
That's the basis for friendship in any world,
real or virtual, whether or not you
ever actually meet in person.
It's probably just as well that we don't
all live in the same city.
That would be too much awesomeness
for any one place to handle!

Well, I didn't even know that there was a day like this. I have a few friends within driving distance but most of them are in Narnia or Canada! LOL!
ReplyDelete...Debra, my friend, have a happy day and may it spill over into your weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friend Day! I have been really lucky to be able to meet some of my online friends in real life. What a great world blogging has opened to many of us. Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteHappy Day indeed!
ReplyDeleteOh, I so agree. Our internet friends are folks who are like- minded. Happy to be in your computer circle of friends. ❤️
ReplyDeleteTomorrow we here celebrate Valentine's Day, but Internet friends day is unknown for us🤔
ReplyDeleteBut you are my internet Friend; so
Happy Day to you💖 😃
Happy day to you in fucking Narnia!
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friend day Debra. I have met some lovely people and would love to meet some of you. Love the "Where your internet friends live"!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have great friends in Narnia. Happy Day, Debra, you Narnia denizen!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the Narnia-ness of it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friends Day ... who knew???
Happy Internet Friend Day!
ReplyDeleteI have met about a dozen bloggers in person, all great experiences, a couple of them very dear friends, and there are another doze I would like to meet someday. If you are in the DC area, let me know.
ReplyDelete"I did not know that." ~ Johnny Carson
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friends Day!!!!
It did not know about this day. I've met a bunch of wonderful bloggers over the years!
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friends Day!
XOXO
Happy Day, Friend!
ReplyDeleteI did not know about this either. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt truly is a community. I keep thinking we should meet up for coffee one day.
ReplyDelete@ Pixie -- Yes, we should! We could go to Cafe La Reine!
DeleteðŸŽ☯️🥰🥹 Oh that pie chart! As much as I love you, Debra, and a few other bloggers; as much as I adore starting my day with y'all; as happy as that makes me 😊, there's always that little sadness inside that we aren't in a room together wining and snacking and chatting (and solving the world's problems! 😘) until dawn or after!...sigh 😕
ReplyDeleteI am pleased to consider you a friend. Happy Friends Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you Debra!
ReplyDeleteBased on our shared love of the use of profanity, I do believe we would be friends in real life. Meanwhile, I'm glad you're here and I get to know you this way.
ReplyDeleteAlso- yes. Please feel free to use that picture I got from a restroom wall. Be the change!
You and Pixie are my Canadian friends! I have met a few ... very few ... online friends!
ReplyDeleteI just learned about the Happy Internet Friend Day! There seems to be something for every day. :) Have a wonderful weekend too.
ReplyDeleteHi Debra, What will the think of next? Happy Internet Friends' Day! --Jim
ReplyDeleteHappy IFD to you and all the other awesome bloggers I know!
ReplyDeleteYes! Happy "Keeping Behind A Shroud Of Anonymity Day" to you too!
ReplyDelete@ Rade -- Sometimes it's a paradoxical truth that being behind a mask of anonymity frees us to show more of our true selves, isn't it!
DeleteThis is such a warm post. Online friendships really can be meaningful, and it’s nice to see how much joy they bring, even from a distance. It’s true, sometimes a little space makes the connection even more special.
ReplyDeleteI have learned so much from you over the years and am happy we are internet friends. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friends Day, indeed! I love that it's before Valentine's Day, and, this year, falls on Friday the 13th! Lucky 13!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the good cheer and thoughtfulness you bring to the interwebs, Debra.
WOOT! Happy Internet Friend Day, Debra!
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friends Day! Sure beats hell out of Friday the 13th...
ReplyDeleteI guess I’m the one in narnia. We are so far away from everywhere else that we often feel like the world is getting on without a though for us.
ReplyDeleteI’ve always said. That the gods sprinkle us around the world so we can hold the light.
I’ve stepped out of my morose just long enough to wish you a Happy Internet Friends Day. Also, if I’m not mistaken it’s almost time for that famous matchup between the Canadiens and Panthers. Here’s hoping that voodoo doll doesn’t disappoint.
ReplyDeleteHappy Internet Friends day to you too my friend 😀
ReplyDeleteI'd like to read Aslan's blog.
ReplyDeleteToday is Valentine's Day magac and I love you. Don't worry about the details. We can do this. Now, I have to tell you , that we are in trouble. Me personally, I just don't keep this day. I was afraid that we would be in trouble.
ReplyDeleteI always can talk to Valentin . I don't want to bother him.
anyway, I am asking you to stop killing us.
Let's talk about that feelings that we have.
We heard about Saint Valentine.
It is not a good thing. We are sitting here in tears.
On top of all that,we have to deal with this corrupt things.
Valentin,I want you to know that I loved you.
.You are no
ReplyDeleteshedshessssst going to see to like this. But we have to get rid of that Donald J Trump. We have to get rid of the whole thing.
I don't know what you do, but we can't have it. Nobody even cares about your Epstein Files and all that. Everyday,it is more of me your bullshit. I would not be listening to this. It is pretty bad.
I am an old guy, hiding out in the country. It is shameful to see this. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
I think we might be done with that Charlie Kirk guy and his grifter opportunist wife. What the fuck, I would sleep with Charlie Kirk too, if I thought he had money.
Is she happy now?
But I am not done with Erika Kirk . I have attitudes. Ooh she made me upset.
I forgot to tell you about that whore.
Probably she doesn't like me at all.
I forgot to tell her. It is not easy living with Pam Bondi. Or whatever. I get confused. Because what is she talking about?
You think you are going to play patticcake with us and show up, trying to kill us? What is wrong with you?
And then we have that Kristi Noem. I can't believe it. I can't even believe that I have to see that person. You all might be angry with me, but I think she is a puta.
Thank God we are poor around here, or else Kristi Noem could deport us too.
. I have a low opinion of them
I send you love. I never know what to do with Valentin. We have been so many places. I am always thinking about him. I think it is nonsense to get all upset about it. It wasn't our fault. We did what we could.
ReplyDeleteThis time, we are not doing chocolates and roses, Valentin. I had to go bail you out of the jail. So you know that I love you. I would do it again. So don't be telling me about it.
Hello Narnia . Always nice to visit with you.
ReplyDelete@ Richard -- You are in fine form tonight, my friend. Glad you got all that off your chest! Take care.
ReplyDeletethat pie chart is funny and TRUE
ReplyDeleteLeeAnna
Happy Day, dear Debra. I am so happy to have met you 💓
ReplyDeleteNarnia or Sarnia?
ReplyDelete@ e -- They're both at the ass end of the world, I believe.
DeleteHIFD!
ReplyDeleteLove this, Happy Internet Friends Day!
