Hello Debra, I know many people who are participating in No Kings protests. Looking at the map, it is impressive how much is covered by protest areas, but those few blank spaces are disturbing. It would be interesting to superimpose a map of the U.S. on this one and see exactly where those places are. --Jim
My husband and I were talking about the war in Iran and how absolutely horrendous it is. He asked me why Trump had started it, what the purpose of it was and I said, "Because he raped children." I honestly think that's the truth of it. Distraction. And now he is going to need distraction from how the war is affecting not only Iran and its citizens but American citizens and people all over the world.
Trump is a master at creating an unnecessary problem in order to distract from a real problem. His entire financial history is built on causing other people to lose or spend money to address the new problem while he continues to build his wealth. I'm sure that's why his brown-nosers think he's the new messiah.
There are 13 protests going on in the St. Louis area today. I could walk to one of them. I could but I won't. There's a nice big parking lot right there.
No one checked with me when they chose the date for the protests. I am attending a fellowship business meeting that ALWAYS happens on the last Saturday of the month. My body may be sitting in a hotel conference room, but my mind can be somewhere else.
I didn't go to the protest because frankly I can't run fast enough to evade an ICE agent when he tries to run me over and say I jumped out in front of him.
May these "No Kings" Marches bring about the U.S. regime change so desperately wanted by the majority of Americans.... and I'm looking forward to seeing all the great placards too!
Très fier de ces Américains qui défendent l’honneur et les principes des États-Unis en protestant contre un régime malveillant et pervers. :) Monsieur Dupuis 🇨🇦
Some great ones in there. Hubby is here and he looked at me when I started laughing. I’m sure he thinks I should be there with POTUS getting psych care lol
I was at a No King's Rally today and most of the cars that drove by beeped their horns in support. And this was in a suburb that usually leans Republican.
These are brilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteThe song in 1971. Power to the People comes to mind.

My 18 year old daughter is protesting!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to March in Colorado Springs. So tired of this dysfunctional dumpster fire of a government.
ReplyDeleteI'm relying on others to do the protests today...but am so grateful for those who are speaking out!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I are doing the No Kings march in Naperville, IL. There is always a great turnout here.

ReplyDeleteI love the one with him in the hospital gown. My god that man and his minions are insane. They are literally stripping their own country of assets.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great. I'm going to try to get to the protest today in my town.
ReplyDeleteI'll be protesting, as I do every Saturday, with my fellow old fart neighbors. We are TIRED OF THIS BULLSHIT!!!

ReplyDeleteThe world is out marching! I don't care what he does to his own, but this is crazy for the rest of us, suffering from his stupidity.
