I miss that happy little, soft-spoken painter Bob Ross. Labeled a hack by some and a genius by others, his paintings and his technique were amazing to watch as they appeared on canvas in such a short time.
Hello Debra, That blue frogfish could get his fix by jumping into that fishbowl of coffee, although since they are mostly tropical it might not enjoy the temperature. Thanks to you, I just spent an enjoyable half hour reading about the amazing frogfish family in Wikipedia. Apparently, images like the above are color-enhanced, but frogfish are interesting and colorful enough all on their own. Fortunately, while some special are endangered, many are not--let hope collectors stay away from them: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frogfish
🤔 Not really on-topic, but a very good reason for lots of coffee today:
Speaking of the horribly incompetent Trump administration, does it bother anyone else that poor planning put 7 of the top 8 officials in the Presidential line of succession in the same rather poorly-secured room last night? A more effective assassin could have left us with 92 y.o. President Chuck Grassley this morning! 😬
Your post reminded me of my friend (86) who died two weeks ago. I would always send her good morning pics like these. She loved getting them, and she didn't know that I scheduled them ahead of time (she wasn't very techy), sometimes for months, if I was going away. And she was a huge, very good, Scrabble player.
I had a relatively mild case of Covid a couple of years ago (despite the up to date vaccine) and coffee now just doesn’t taste right. But I still have my morning cup.
Le café fait tourner le monde, surtout avec une ou deux doses de whisky à la crème. Un autre favori est le café à la noisette avec du chocolat, très délicieux! Monsieur Dupuis 🇨🇦
Because of my chronic insomnia lately, I’ve stopped drinking the magical brew It’s not helped my insomnia but it has made me grumpy and argumentative Just ask my husband lol
That's a reasonably sized iced coffee? Yikes! I honestly don't know how Americans can drink coffee all day long and not be bug-eyed and jittery from it all.
Coffee is health food- any good Scandinavian knows that. I have been drinking coffee since the age of six- I was rather hoping that it might turn my skin brown but that has not worked out.
I came in here after my coffee and starting to feel okay, this is fine now! Your timing is chef's kiss.
ReplyDeletePerkatory.
ReplyDeleteIt's real!!!!!
I love my morning cuppa!
ReplyDeleteEven though I only drink decafe, I still need my coffee in the morning!
ReplyDeleteCoffee outside at sunrise ♥

ReplyDeleteI’m stuck with decaf now and I sure do miss my morning jolt.
ReplyDeleteLOVE THESE!!! (and grabbed a few!) R
ReplyDeleteI firmly believe Bob Ross would endorse that last one, ha.
ReplyDelete...somehow I start my days without coffee!
ReplyDeleteCoffee. As Martha Stewert says, It's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteNo coffee here either. And I don't like the smell. I'm on the bottom rung of coffee drinkers. I don't even like to type the word!
ReplyDeleteDear Debra, the first image with the cat has me laughing!!! Thank you so much, dear friend, I love it!
ReplyDeleteJust hook up a coffee filled IV! 😂

I must confess--I don't like coffee. Soda with caffeine is my thing.
ReplyDeletedrink tea
ReplyDeleteWhat is that sea creature?! I've never seen anything like it!
ReplyDelete@ Kirk -- According to Parnassus (Jim)'s earlier comment, it is a Blue Frogfish. I was mystified too.
DeleteI'm a two-cup when I wake up kinda gal. This resonates. :)

ReplyDeleteI can NOT wait for a pot... The Keurig is my go-to. 45 seconds and voila!
ReplyDeleteCoffee is health food- any good Scandinavian knows that. I have been drinking coffee since the age of six- I was rather hoping that it might turn my skin brown but that has not worked out.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great. I'm no supposed to drink coffee, but I have to have some to get me going in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed each thoroughly dear Debra as it’s my favourite topic 😂
ReplyDeleteBefore coffee is awesome 😄
Many thanks for smiles and laughter ♥️🙏
I mostly drink tea but I do have coffee every once in a while.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cool collection! :D <3
ReplyDeleteCoffee cheers, Debra. :)
