This mural by an unidentified artist is located
inside Edmonton's Kingsway Mall.
An androgynous young adventurer is opening a portal
in the time-space continuum and is about to go
on a grand adventure -- who knows where?
And of course, every adventurer needs
a companion on the journey!

Ohhhh love!
ReplyDeleteI want this on a T-shirt !
I love they offer space to artists.
XOXO
Hello Debra, Let's hope the portal does not lead to 19th century Aylmer, Ontario! --Jim
ReplyDeleteI like this one a lot; great color.
ReplyDeleteNothing sets my appreciation for the color palette of a primary and secondary complementary color on fire like blue and orange. Made a quilt in those colors many years ago and it just popped when viewed.
ReplyDeleteWhat an Eye catch 😳
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors of this.
ReplyDeleteI love this!
ReplyDelete...Debra, you are finding some amazing murals. Keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteI like the style of this, Debra.

ReplyDeleteWonderful mural, and cats are much better at keeping secrets than dogs.
ReplyDelete@ Yvonne -- VERY true. Those yappy dogs will tell ANYONE EVERYTHING.

ReplyDeleteMuralists are so talented! And I love that black cat, Debra!
ReplyDeleteThere’s something very hopeful about that young adventurer. It’s funny to find such a cosmic-scale piece of art inside a mall—a literal 'portal' between a food court and a shoe store! It’s a great reminder that even in the most ordinary places, there’s a grand adventure waiting to happen.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what secret spot he is opening with his finger.I love the bright colors.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
