Hello! I am Asep Haryono, and I’m a travel blogger from Indonesia, Southeast Asia.
I came across your awesome blog through Mary Kirkland’s personal blog. It’s a real privilege to be here and read some of your wonderful posts. I’ve followed your blog so I won’t miss any of your latest updates.
🎃😱 I love the pumpkin tent, but it is appropriate that the meme comes from "Horror Junkie." The nursery rhyme evoked by the tent ("Peter, Peter") is not only misogynistic but started as a scary, and possibly murderous, adult tale. “Peter, Peter, pumpkin eater, Had a wife but couldn’t keep her;* He put her in a pumpkin shell** And there he kept her very well."
*couldn't keep his cheating, maybe sex-working, wife at home **some versions say the shell is a chastity belt. Others claim the shell was a wall of Peter's house where he entombed his wife and hoped the mice would eat off her.🐀
Dear Debra, I enjoyed seeing all of these pumpkins! The cat is so cute and comfortable! The Nasa one is amazing! The rest made me smile or laugh...but every single one I thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks, dear friend.

ReplyDeleteI gotta agree with the Savage Chickens, and cats will sleep anywhere, won't they?
ReplyDelete🤣 Evil Cousin.
ReplyDeleteDo it, Great Pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteThe knife stuck in the pumpkin could be a good way to scare off burglars. Love the kitty. Love you.
