Clawed and Mauled! *sob*

Final score: B.C. Lions 34, Winnipeg Blue Bombers 23.

The Lions led throughout the game, but the play was pretty desultory until the 4th quarter. Then all of a sudden, both teams came alive and touchdowns abounded! The Bombers fought hard but it was too little, too late and they could not prevail.

And the worst thing of all is that now I have to put up with a smug cat for the rest of the week. Her Royal Highness will be absolutely insufferable.

  2. Maybe you should get HRH to tell you what horses to bet on at the track.... she seems to be doing fairly well at picking the winners!

  4. Forgive me but when is a cat not smug? Or is it just more in your face right now!

Thanks for the blog problem information. I'm finding more and more people with my problem. I had not idea is wasn't isolated.

  5. You have my deepest sympathy, although (to be honest) I'd completely forgotten about the game! Southpaw is right - when is a cat Not smug! Lol!

  6. They have football in Canada? I thought you guys just sat around drinking maple syrup while watching ice hockey.

Kidding aside, I hate when my cat wins at anything. Being bested by an animal with a brain the size of a walnut is humbling.

  7. My sympathies to you on both the game and your smug cat. Maybe you can bribe her with something...you know, make her feel a little sorry for you.

  8. I love me some football... and can sympathize with a tough loss.... as my team in the NFL (The Chiefs) this year is slowly breaking my heart week by week.... Hey maybe we could move them to your league?
