Every year, Oma Linda at Olde Baggs 'n Stuft Shirts hosts a Celebrate Oz blog hop party. This year's theme is aLtEReD oZ -- "not your mama's Oz" where everyone will "follow the yellow brick road to a different drummer." Now, I'm not a crafter or an artist; I can't produce a marvelously original Wizard of Oz artifact for you to look at. So I have simply altered the Wizard of Oz story by retelling it in borrowed LOLcat gags and photos. Thank you to all the creative people who produced these images in the first place!

ReplyDeleteHahahahhaahhaa. But how could anyone bathe a cat? The vet just dreads seeing me bring in old Squeaker for her shots. They all have to get into full body armour and they unscrew the top of her cage rather than try to get her out the door. Jeesh!

Absolutely one of the best versions of Oz yet! Fantastic job from someone who says she isn't an artist! When you can get someone to laugh this early in the morning you are a true artist! Happy Altered Oz! :o}

ReplyDeleteOnce again, another hilarious view of aLtEReD oZ has made its way onto the Internet Machine. Your vision of a LOLcat Oz is great! As one who teaches Weather & Climate, I noticed the rotation of kitty on its way to Oz. If the Coriolis Force was to be obeyed, 'yonder kitty should rotate counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere. However, since in an aLtEReD oZ, the Laws of Physics are also altered, spin kitty spin!!! As you can see, I'm not quite right in the head!
