My cat Her Royal Highness has always been fascinated by the idea of space travel.
She wants to go to the moon in particular.
Oh, she knows it's not really a huge ball of yarn, LOL! But few people realize that the moon is actually a ginormous litter box. All that lovely moon dust to scratch around in . . . . Well, you can understand why she wants to go there and feel it between her toesies.
But alas, HRH cannot get to the moon on her own. Since NASA isn't running the space shuttle anymore and Russia won't give me the time of day, I have been forced to construct my very own space ship to get HRH to her desired destination.
Wish us luck! We'll be back later in June.
Have a safe trip...
ReplyDeleteRemember to pack lots of catnip!
ReplyDeleteSafe trip!
ReplyDeleteYup. That oughtta do it. Just make sure you pack a couple of rolls of duct tape for repairs along the way...
ReplyDeleteI wonder if we shall have a lunar eclipse if HRH ever gets her paws on the Moon :)
ReplyDeleteI personally am protesting cat poop on our moon!
ReplyDeleteHRH, I hope your toes delight in the moon-y dust. Have fun, and send more pictures!
ReplyDeleteI hope you both enjoy your trip. Bring us back some moon rock!
ReplyDeleteBon voyage you guys!Enjoy the view!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful trip!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you guys didn't just win that space trip with Leonardo DiCaprio like some fan did. Who knew that Leonardo DiCaprio needed to go to space anyway?
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to your blog posts from space.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind, take a picture or two of that American space junk while you're there, so we can end this conspiracy theory business altogether.
ReplyDeleteSafe trip! (do they put cat chow in those toothpaste tube things?)
but when they go for car rides, cats act like they're getting sucked into a vortex
ReplyDeleteSafe trip. If you don't mind, I will be waiting for a Moon rock.
ReplyDeleteMary
That's the way to go, if you are going to the moon. I think HRH needs her own movie. Safe trip!
ReplyDeleteHi Debra!
ReplyDeleteI've been catching up on all your posts while enjoying my morning coffee. And I've been laughing, let me tell you ~ although now I'm hungry for one of those cupcakes. The kitty exercise was hysterical, and as a third grade teacher I made a "text" to me connection! I just know those kitties were getting ready for a paddle board lesson while surfing on the flat side of those bosu balls! LOL! Have a great break!
Have a great trip! I always wondered what my cat was staring at when she walks out onto the third floor balcony. Now I know - the giant litter box in the sky.
ReplyDeleteBon voyage! At least HRH is adventurous!
ReplyDeleteWish I could be joining you :)
See you in June!
I wonder if she could just give her poops a good kick and launch them into orbit? ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis totally reminded me of the Wallace & Gromit short. They ate it because it really was made of cheese. But I like the litter box idea.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteyou are a lovely indulgent cat owner!
ReplyDeleteSafe journeys! Perhaps HRH could hook up with Leonardo di Caprio....I hear he's taking a fan up to space with him.
ReplyDeletefun times... fur shur :)
ReplyDeletegoes perfect with my dream this morning. I was in a space shuttle going into space. Maybe Royal Highness can come with me ;-)
