Fly Me to the Moon

My cat Her Royal Highness has always been fascinated by the idea of space travel.

She wants to go to the moon in particular.

Oh, she knows it's not really a huge ball of yarn, LOL! But few people realize that the moon is actually a ginormous litter box. All that lovely moon dust to scratch around in . . . . Well, you can understand why she wants to go there and feel it between her toesies.

But alas, HRH cannot get to the moon on her own. Since NASA isn't running the space shuttle anymore and Russia won't give me the time of day, I have been forced to construct my very own space ship to get HRH to her desired destination.

Wish us luck! We'll be back later in June.

  9. Too bad you guys didn't just win that space trip with Leonardo DiCaprio like some fan did. Who knew that Leonardo DiCaprio needed to go to space anyway?

  11. If you don't mind, take a picture or two of that American space junk while you're there, so we can end this conspiracy theory business altogether.

Safe trip! (do they put cat chow in those toothpaste tube things?)

  15. Hi Debra!
I've been catching up on all your posts while enjoying my morning coffee. And I've been laughing, let me tell you ~ although now I'm hungry for one of those cupcakes. The kitty exercise was hysterical, and as a third grade teacher I made a "text" to me connection! I just know those kitties were getting ready for a paddle board lesson while surfing on the flat side of those bosu balls! LOL! Have a great break!

  16. Have a great trip! I always wondered what my cat was staring at when she walks out onto the third floor balcony. Now I know - the giant litter box in the sky.

  19. This totally reminded me of the Wallace & Gromit short. They ate it because it really was made of cheese. But I like the litter box idea.
