I have rescued a few baby squirrels. One, "little guy," stayed with us from fall to spring. that was the year the christmas tree stayed up for months with no decorations other than the top star. he would be so excited to see you when you came home that he'd run up your leg, across your shoulders, down the other leg, repeat over and over and over again. somewhere I have pictures of little guy on my head, but their claws are sharp so I always wore a hat.
