Photo of the Week!

Winnipeg. Winter. A Hudson's Bay coat. A formerly injured, now rehabilitated and released, Great Horned Owl. A quintessentially Canadian photo, n'est-ce pas?

Awesome.

  2. I must be the only Canadian who doesn't have a Hudson's bay coat or blanket. I totally want one.
The only thing that would have made this photo more Canadian would be a cup of Timmies in her hand. Or in the owls'!!

  10. What an incredible photo! We have no Hudson Bay blanket, coat or mitts here, too pricey, but still am 100% Canadian. :) Lucky owl, so many do not get to the release stage.

  16. Oh magnificent photo! I would love to live in Canada someday, except i woyldn'be able to decide where in Canada to live! Having grown up in Maine, i'm particularly fond of Maitime Canada, Nova Scotia, etc, where we visited often. Quebec City is awesome! But since hubby and i have moved west, we love BC too! It's all great!
