Amen, Debra. The Sea soothes me like nothing else can. I can't imagine not being near Her. That kitten is too funny. If I had to be away for salt water for more than a few days I'd probably feel that way too!
We don't have no stinkin' beaches here...oh wait yeah we do Tingley Beach (it's actually a tributary sorta, of the Rio Grande). And lots of folks have called where I live a big kitty litter box so I guess that counts. We have beaches, we have no water.
I learned to love the beach, and now I super duper love it! "A beach is a place where a man can feel he's the only soul in the world that's real." Geezer rock...
Oh my Debra......me thinks there is a little bit of "Humbug" going on here at the moment. LOL LOL Read your last few posts.....Thankfully Christmas only comes once a year....eh.
I know how the kitty feels.
ReplyDeleteI've never understood the appeal of walking on the beach, I just get my trainers dirty and full of sand.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love a walk on the beach...especially after summer is over and all are back in school.
ReplyDeleteMary
I never pee where I beach ;-D

ReplyDeleteNot sure how Gomez would feel about me lounging in his litter box (fresh litter of course!):0)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to walk in the sand with my bare feet while listening to the waves from the sea as they'd come crashing in.
ReplyDeleteLol...aww..cute little soul! thanks for the early morning giggles!
ReplyDeleteHugs and wishing you a magical season and upcoming W.Solstice.

Awwwwwww!
ReplyDeleteBig Big purr-fect laugh :))
ReplyDeleteTrue that. Sand can be the greatest pollutant pool
ReplyDeleteWell, trust me, the Lake Ontario beach here is fricken freezing. I'm with Kitty!

ReplyDeleteYou know I adore my beach!! I almost feel sorry for the kitty...
ReplyDeleteI'm more than ready to get my beach on! :)
ReplyDeleteSo true!!!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to walk on a beach...very south...where the weather is warm, and so is the water!
ReplyDeleteI never considered the litter box as a beach alternative. I will think of it next time I want a vacation but can't afford one.
ReplyDeleteI agree - with both. I'm five hours from the beach. I may just stop at PetCo this afternoon for a bag of kitty litter.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Deb.

I don't care who ya are. That's funny!
ReplyDeleteI can't stop laughing and then I read what Magaly wrote and I really can't stop laughing!
ReplyDeleteI don't think mr. cat would like the ocean being all made of water and everything.
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting ten inches of snow today and that is as close to a beach as I can get.

ReplyDeleteDebra....next time you are in the Maritimes we will show you a beach or two! And with much better 'sand' than the second photo!! lol

ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic~
ReplyDeleteThat kitten thinking that's the beach is pretty good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Kitty didn't do anything there before laying down :-)
