Plus let's not forget that our pets celebrate Valentines Day too, although dogs and cats do have different attitudes to love . . . .

ReplyDeleteChristmas, birthday, Valentine's Day, Wedding anniversary, mother's day... these are days men feel they are obligated to buy a present for their wives. I love my wife every day and I don't need a reason to buy her presents.
ReplyDeleteThe temperature was sub zero today so we stayed home, but tomorrow we will drive down to L.L. Beans and my wife will select something or some things she wants, then we will have an nice meal out - because I love her; and we didn't have to deal with reservations at a crowded restaurant full of people feeling they are obligated to show affection on a designated day.
Happy Valentine's Day anyway.
