It's Valentines Day!

Okay, okay, I know. Some people love it, some people hate it. So this post is going to pander to everybody! Let's start off with some sweet, if not necessarily conventional, Valentines Day luuuuuv . . . .

Aaaaaaand now, let's take a darker turn for all you non-romantic types and cynics out there . . . .

Plus let's not forget that our pets celebrate Valentines Day too, although dogs and cats do have different attitudes to love . . . .

Finally, whether you love this Special Day or hate this Hallmark Occasion, here's a big sloppy kiss for you from me! Happy Valentines Day!

  30. Christmas, birthday, Valentine's Day, Wedding anniversary, mother's day... these are days men feel they are obligated to buy a present for their wives. I love my wife every day and I don't need a reason to buy her presents.

The temperature was sub zero today so we stayed home, but tomorrow we will drive down to L.L. Beans and my wife will select something or some things she wants, then we will have an nice meal out - because I love her; and we didn't have to deal with reservations at a crowded restaurant full of people feeling they are obligated to show affection on a designated day.

    Happy Valentine's Day anyway.

  31. That says Valentine's Day in Texas and yet I recognize the logo/style of packaging on that delicious heart shaped steak... not only do we have that store here, but I also wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see those completely sold out of its meat section here.
