Yes, October is here. Autumn is upon us. The Wheel of the Triple Goddess turns again and the Sacred Time of the Crone has arrived. This season's powerful subjects for contemplation are:
Aging
Death
and
Renewal
Be not afraid of the universal truth of all life on this planet.
Yes I watch myself age every day.
ReplyDeletethe life cycle continues...
ReplyDeletePrefer not to think about it.
ReplyDeleteRenewal...the fuel that keeps the engine going.
ReplyDeleteThat video is mesmerizing.
ReplyDeletes cool!
ReplyDeleteAwesome clip! Some dark subjects to contemplate
ReplyDeleteA crone is a sage woman - an old man is an old man. Women come into their prime as they age: they take care of people and are matriarchs of the family, men just get older. I am not complaining - it is just the way I see it.

Kindred Hearst! I just blogged on easelandquill.blogspot.com similar pondering so, but of a real live crone! mE! Hahahahaha! Yep it's all about MEee this month! xoDebi
ReplyDeleteYeeHaw! My favorite time of of year. I enjoy my "aging" ... wish I was this "smart" when I was younger! :) :)
ReplyDeleteChilling. Thank you for getting me ready for Halloween fun and madness.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost 73...we don't talk about death around here..ha
ReplyDeleteI work most Halloween and bonfire nights. Boooo!
ReplyDeleteThis is the time of year that lends itself to pondering. And at my age, that means contemplating the next life step.....being worm food. But I'm not afeared, I shall return as someone or something even more obnoxious. Of that I am assured. bwahahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI like Ol' Buzzard's comment. I always thought an old crone was an elderly witchy woman. Now I hope I shall become an old crone.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
There is something rather comforting about the whole wheel-turning business. You can't stop it (well, you could, but why?) so enjoy the journey. While I still can't quite equate me : crone, I am warming up to the subject.
ReplyDeleteA lot of work went into that clip. Nice.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Another trip around the sun!
ReplyDeleteBoy...I see my mama in my mirror every day and now, I am older than she was when she passed...
ReplyDeleteSuch a cool video..I'd love to send it to a grandgirl..how do I do that??
Wait, what? I'm getting renewed?
ReplyDeleteI love October, it's my favorite month❤
ReplyDeleteI love October too and my blog is on Halloween mode. I might actually blog about witches.
ReplyDeleteAm looking forward to Bonfire.night this year. It's all I have to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteThankfully the aging process moves a bit slower than the video implies.
ReplyDeleteThat is cool in a chilling kind of way. Or chilling in a cool kind of way!
ReplyDeleteThank you for using my favorite name of any season, "Autumn."
ReplyDeleteI hate going old. But there's no running from it.
ReplyDeleteWish can live forever though.
There is immense strength and power in accepting the cycle of life!
ReplyDeleteQuite a transformation..Very cool..
ReplyDeleteLove the video. Definitely not my philosophy on life, but it's a beautiful execution of the concept.
ReplyDeleteGreat image ~ but frankly, I'm having trouble accepting that I am in the Sacred Time of the Crone! I run around pretending I'm about ten or eleven, sometimes as old as 29! I'm in serious denial. LOL
ReplyDeleteWith age comes wisdom . Or something ...
ReplyDeleteI just watched that video four times. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteAll that lives is born to die. On the other hand it all turns into fertilizer for the future. Maybe it's because I'm getting older that people call me a wise guy. Maybe not.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post! That video is amazing! I love October! I know for me this year, it is renewal!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this ghostly season and your video is perfect ♥
ReplyDeleteYikes! I see myself aging every time I sit in the hairdresser's chair, in front of that giant mirror he has. Off to diet and moisturize...
ReplyDeleteSome women age like fine wine. My wife ages like milk.
