The Playoffs Are Here!

There are only TWO Canadian hockey teams in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs this year -- the Winnipeg Jets and the Toronto Maple Leafs. I wish the Leafs well, of course, but at the moment I'm cheering for the Winnipeg Jets in their series against the Minnesota Wild. As an ex-Winnipegger, how could I NOT? The Jets are currently leading the series two games to one.

So here I am in front of my TV SET, wearing my Winnipeg Jets PJ PANTS, assisting the Winnipeg fans on the screen by being the Edmonton contingent of THE WHITEOUT!

GO JETS GO!

  1. Those pants are what both my daughters call slouch pants, and you can't buy them in the UK so every time I travel to the States I bring them back a pair from Walmart.

    Have fun!

  8. Cleveland has a hockey team, let me think what they're called, Barons? Crusaders? Lumberjacks? No, none of those. Not anymore. Ah, yes, got it. The Lake Erie Monsters. Have no idea how they're doing.

  15. You look super cozy! And I love that room for its minimalistic look. Or you're missing furniture. Either way, a minimalist's environment :)

  16. @ Martha -- You're now the second person to call my apartment "minimalist," LOL! But actually, I don't mean it to be. I just have always embraced what used to be called "voluntary simplicity" -- no excess stuff -- just what you truly need.
