Unlike my last goofy post, this one contains some real gems of serious thought and opinion with which I largely agree. I hope at least some of them resonate with you and your life as well!
They are all amazing and I feel a better person for just having read them, thank you for that; wow, my gosh that was a great way to start my day , Thanks Debra!
OMG, friend D … what a wealth of awesome, awesome sayings you have presented here! Thank you so much for sharing! … and in order to change the subject … how do you like the snow? … smiles … Much love, cat.
I usually find sayings very trite and sentimental but you have found some that really ring true and wise: I am learning every day that growing older is a privilege denied to many - and being damaged over the years, I am now looking for gold in the healed areas.
There are so many good quotes here, I can't choose just one. I do, however, often think of not regretting getting older. Despite the aches and pains, I am truly blessed.
I like all of these but the one where the Japanese mend broken things with gold, I kept looking at that one. I think it is because I really love the look of that piece. Find one and send it to me, would you? Thanks, you Canadians you are the best!
I like the Knowledge Experience drawing. Being able to connect various knowledge takes experience. "The less people know, the more stubbornly they know it." - wow that one fits our current time very well. The last one is a good one to end on.
I like them all...the No Wifi in the Forest might be my favorite. So glad you liked the biscuits...and thanks for letting me know. They are quick, easy and taste so good.
ooh, these were all wise sayings, but I especially loved the one about the master and the beginner, and the better connection in the forest, and the privilege of getting old. The alternative doesn't appeal.
These are wonderful statements to remember. I like growing older. It feels good to become wiser and have the ability to simplify life easier. The last one is a perfect ending to all this inspiration!
I like the master/beginner one especially. And anything with a dog in. And perhaps that's why i'm not successful: I am no good at managing my life.
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
so many of these (like gandhi) could be applied to our deplorables in the government and elsewhere in this country today.
ReplyDeleteThey are all amazing and I feel a better person for just having read them, thank you for that; wow, my gosh that was a great way to start my day , Thanks Debra!
