Even More Important Than Witches . . .

. . . are their CATS!

A witch is NOTHING without her familiars!

They always SET THE MOOD!

Their temperaments can VARY, so don't make ASSUMPTIONS.

A witch's cat can be JUST AS POWERFUL as its Mistress.

So a responsible witch must keep her familiars under
CLOSE SUPERVISION AND CONTROL at all times.

  5. If I wasn't so allergic to cats, I would have a black cat for sure!! They are beautiful creatures and a great side kick for witches.

  6. Aww, you made me miss my awesome black cat, Jasper. He lived a good long life and had many (too many imo!) adventures.

  7. I watched a documentary about the children's magazine Highlights. They never have stories about witches because witches are usually portrayed as ugly and evil and they don't want to insult the Wiccan community.

    Love,

  8. That little one is so sweet. I remember my sister and I had a little guy like that one Halloween. We heard him meowing in a dumpster and rescued him. We called him Tigger. I made a tiny Witches hat out of felt with a little black ribbon to tie under his chin. He loved to wear it until he got too big for it. Old Tig lasted for 23 years. He was a great ol' cat. I miss him.

At least that;s what ours tell us.

  11. Both our cats are black and they are evil. Just ask them.

  12. All cats are evil, they just choose to be good to certain folks.

  13. the grands left their cats in my care when they moved to the new house. That means at this point I am only 2 cat short of a crazy cat lady 6 pack. Two of the four are black beauties and battle all the time, in a cute black cat way. So magick is always on the agenda at Casa de Cuckoo. Love all the positive advertisement for black cats. xoxo Oma Linda

'Those who don't believe in Magic will never find it.' So true!
Also, had to laugh at the 'Close Supervision and Control'........ as if!

  22. Aw, this post just made me miss my next door neighbor so much. She moved a few months ago. Every year for over a decade, we combined houses for Halloween. She dressed up as a witch. I'm not talking some five second costume either. She went all out! She was Bette Midler's character from Hocus Pocus. Anyway, her cat is black and she also had a cauldron with smoke and candles. It was the best. Wah! I miss her!!

  27. We have a lovely black cat named Luna. She is only evil when she is playing on my bed, with my blankets. I keep my hands far away from her claws... Aside from that she is a gentle soul.

  30. This made me smile. I'd love to have a black kitty, but Terry empathically doesn't want a cat. That little kitty with it's little hat and pumpkin looks adorable. I hope that you are enjoying a great fall weekend, Debra!
