Over the course of my blog's 12+ years' existence,
I've only had two blog headers.
Isn't it great? Squeeeeeee!
This was designed for me by
Linda of Life and Linda
who offers blog design and services
at her site My Fairy Blog Mother.
Highly recommended!
Thanks, Linda!
Debra, it was my pleasure to create a new header for your blog. So glad you love the new look! Enjoy and thanks for the shout out.
ReplyDeleteLovely work Linda!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI liked all your headers Debs, but this might be my favorite...very pretty, earthly, and elegant and the bees!!! It's nice to makes things fresh from getting stale. Bravo
That header really bee nice.
ReplyDeleteMe likey!!!
ReplyDeleteThe new header is glorious! Linda @ Life and Linda is very talented.
ReplyDeleteA bee-guiling header!
ReplyDeleteI like the 1st and 3rd ones. They're so colorful.
ReplyDeleteI like it. Very fruity.
ReplyDeleteThat header speaks to me! I love the botanicals and honeycomb. Linda did a great job. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteI have never really thought about it. Blogger should update its blog templates, BTW. I think I've not changed mine because the formats are so... dated?
Your new header is fantastic!
XOXO
Very pretty Debra.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! It reminds me that Spring is coming and that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI love it!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I think I need to redesign mine too. Although I wear bling I feel people visiting my blog must think I'm about 18. Lol.
ReplyDeleteIT'S YOU! THE BEST HEADER EVAH!
ReplyDeletei absolutely loved this new header dear Debra
ReplyDeleteLinda is amazingly talented as i just visited and saw her beautiful work which is gorgeous
changing header is great idea indeed :)
It's always nice to refresh. And you always have such a great layout and presentation. I am finding the "new" blogger so difficult to work with. I sometimes spend a couple of hours on what should take twenty minutes. Google Chrome is the only friendly interface. What is your secret?
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, Linda must think you live on top of a uranium mine, if that's the way gardens near you look! Seriously, the design is quite lovely, perfect for spring, especially when we are a little color starved, and I like the way it ties into the old one by repeating the honeycomb pattern and of course the bees.
ReplyDeleteLinda, it is perfect!

@ Frank -- I'm no fan of New Blogger either but through much practice I have figured out the basics of what I need to do to make it work for me. You're right though -- everything takes twice as long to do as it used to. I also use Google Chrome when accessing my blog. I also have an Apple computer. I don't know if that helps using New Blogger or not, but I find it relatively easy to upload photos, memes and gifs through the iPhoto function.
ReplyDeleteWell, since no one else has said it ... I will: The new header is beautiful and totally the "bees knees!" LOL
ReplyDelete@ Marcia LaRue -- Ha ha, "the bees knees" LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know I love it! So fresh with fruit, flowers and of course BEES! It's damn near delightful.
ReplyDeleteBANNER NEWS!!! The new header is gorgeous! So colorful and charming. Well done, Linda! I love it.
ReplyDeleteThird time is indeed the charm. I love it.
ReplyDeleteCheers and happy Friday.
Love the new one too.
ReplyDeleteI love it, it's fresh and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Nice lemons!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good one. Love that the lemons are half peeled. Wonder why the oranges aren't.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! So unique!
ReplyDeleteLike the new header. Maybe you've said this before and I missed it, but are a beekeeper in your spare time?
ReplyDeleteI've changed the design on my blog several times over the years. The only real problem is when you change it, it gets changed to the very beginning, as if that's the design you've had all along. You don't get to see how a blog has evolved over time. For instance, my blog didn't have pictures or videos in the first couple of years (because I had no idea on how to add them), it was pure prose, and so I used kind of a beige parchment look, as if it was a page from a 1910s magazine. When I finally figured out how to add pictures and videos, I realized they kind of clashed with the design, and so went with something else. I eventually included a picture in the heading, and a bunch of little pictures in the sidebar. Except now if you go back to those first couple of years, it must seem strange that I would have photos in the sidebar and in the heading, but none in the post itself, which remains pure prose. Nobody's ever noticed this but me. Still, I find it kind of irksome. I'd rather the design change from the date I choose the new design and not beforehand.
Why the bees? Bee is one of my spirit animals.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Bee-u-ti-ful!
ReplyDelete@ Kirk and @ peppylady (Dora) -- No, I'm not a beekeeper in my spare time, LOL! The reasons for my bee theme are explained in this post:

Looks nice. I don't have a bloggerhead, maybe I should make one.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a new frock to brighten up the day
ReplyDeleteNice. Kind of like a mixture of a spring/summer motif. Hearkens back to the days where things were so much simpler to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteand Spring - a great time of year for renewal.
