  2. The bees and human one really got me. Maybe we should let the OTHER animals have it.

  3. HRH gave this planet so much shit... I mean literally... straight into the soil :) A true legend!

  4. Gosh, I really like that one about the tree, his family being killed for paper cups. It really makes you think.

  5. The tree giving the finger says a lot! It amazes me when people don't care about the environment. Nature is the one constant that has always brought me solace.

  6. The first one pretty well sums it up for me! Have a great day my friend!

  13. Every time I think of something, I do I. Now I use paper lunch bags for cat litter, and the occasional bread wrapper.

  14. Happy Earth Day!

All of the images speak more than a thousand words. Especially the roulette. The statue in Berlin, though. Accurate.

  15. Oh...good post! I especially like the one about the planet going on and even thriving if humans become extinct. Ain't that the truth?

  18. My husband and I both went to the first Earth Summit held in Brazil. He was the UN's Maritime expert and he spoke about the problems of pollution in the seas from shipping and garbage etc. The governments all signed up to the UN protocol but
what has happened since then? Lots of talk and very little action. Babies that were born at the time of that first summit are now 39 years old!!!

  19. Hello Debra, Each one of these is a gem. Unfortunately, you are preaching to the choir. As for the real villains, one cent of profit is all it takes for them to sell out the earth.

We use reusable bags for groceries and everything else. Downside of reusable bags as they make shoplifting much easier according to an article I found.
