We ALL know WHY there are
NO unicorns in the world, DON'T we?
NO unicorns in the world, DON'T we?
But that's FAKE NEWS, my friends.
Here's what REALLY happened.
It's undeniably true that everything
UNICORN FLAVOURED is
SWEET and DELICIOUS.
Whether it's for KIDS . . .
. . . or for ADULTS.
But BE CAREFUL how you indulge!
Alas, unicorns' inherent sweetness and naivety
can have some DRAWBACKS
when operating in the REAL WORLD.
can have some DRAWBACKS
when operating in the REAL WORLD.
And speaking of Steven . . .
It was Steven of Sooooo This is Me who
sent me the following unicorn video.
sent me the following unicorn video.
But I must WARN you!
IT'S TOOTH-ACHINGLY SWEET!
WATCH AT YOUR OWN "NEW AGE-Y" RISK!
Thanks, Steven, you sweetly sarcastic little rainbow, you!
IS THAT GIN FOR REAL? WANT!
ReplyDeleteThat first one is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThe Bible does mention unicorns, I assuming post-flood. Along with other fake creatures and demons.
ReplyDeleteThe Bible: probably not even 2% accurate.
Love my unicorns. Great post.
ReplyDeletePoor cat!
ReplyDeleteUnicorn Tears looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteI saw many unicorns in Pride month...even rode one. I hope they stay around.
ReplyDeleteDebra, apparently there are still herds of them in Ireland, many people have reported seeing them on their way home from the pub. :D
ReplyDeleteYep ~ I still love me some unicorns! I have a stuffed one that 'sits' over 3 feet tall! His name is Morgan, and he guards the entrance to my studio ~
ReplyDeleteI suspect I would be like the pogoing unicorn ...
ReplyDeleteI had to look up the unicorn bible bit. It's true! A flying unicorn! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThat unicorn video was from the movie Legend. I loved that part. I stole the cat meme.
ReplyDeleteI recently saw someone wearing a T-shirt with a picture of a unicorn throwing up a rainbow. I wondered if that was meant to be homophobic or merely silly. I hope it's the latter.
ReplyDeleteNot too long ago LGBTQ folks were seen as almost mythical creatures, so a unicorn is as good a metaphor as any, except WE made it onto that ark!
Rainbow Unicorns are all the rage among kids aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThe Unicorn Tears beverage sounds delicious. I would be totally obsessed with that unicorn video if I was 8 years old.
ReplyDeleteI can't see a unicorn anymore without thinking about the Squatty Potty video! I do love the Irish Rovers' song, though.
ReplyDeleteUnicorn pie is kosher? Whoot! Excuse me, gotta go find some.
ReplyDeleteHappy new week, Debra.
I was expecting those two unicorns to, you know, get frisky with each other... the mood seemed right!
ReplyDeleteShenanigans, shenanigans! Gin shouldn't be that color.
ReplyDeleteIt's wise to be wary of unicorns, unicorn people that is … as they look beautiful and graceful and all that … but one wrong move, and they can kill you ... Anyway, friend D ... Happy Monday, eh? Much love from the Thunderbutts :)
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, I have to admit that the whimsy level on unicorns has been notched up a little too much for me, but these were great, especially the unicorn pie one.
ReplyDelete--Jim
p.s. I didn't get the video--I though that something was going to happen.
Are they fuzzy?
ReplyDeletethe Ol'Buzzard
Oh. My. Gay. Goddddd
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that movieeeee! It’s one of the few things with Tom Cruise in it that I can stomach.
And I love me a good unicorn. You know what I learned? That when a bi couple finds a bi partner they’re called unicorns?
The cartoon with Moses cracked me up!
XoXo
So they really do fart rainbows, but in indelible (or at least cat-fast) ink?
ReplyDeleteThe pogo-stick one is hilarious. Never take a unicorn on a balloon ride!
Blonde Tickler love unicorns.
ReplyDeleteI recall Starbucks mentioning unicorns in advertising for one of their odd colored drinks.
ReplyDeleteIf nature can produce narwhals then why unicorns.
Who doesn't love the magic of unicorns? :-) Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill
Way to bring me back to the 80's. LOL, I remember loving that movie. Since my kids are on a bender of 80's fantasy/ sci-fi/ horror (thanks Stranger Things) I may have to dig Legend out to show them. That "loved by the sun" song can't be a bigger earworm that the Neverending Story theme, right?
ReplyDeletei've never seen one but i believe...and in fairies..and those little irish fellas..the whiz of oz..easter bunny and santa clause. believing just makes life more fun
ReplyDeleteI saw unicorns all the time until I started ... ahem ... messing with boys.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was a little boy at a zoo who saw the Rhinocerous and exclaimed, "A BATTLE UNICORN".........don't you just want to hug that child.
ReplyDeleteGotta love those Unicorns..cute post..
ReplyDeletei had read some story books with fascinating images of unicorns in childhood
ReplyDeletei still remember the enchantment i felt while looking at them
they are in dreams sometimes
57 seconds of unicorn video was plenty, thanks. they were just so wholesome!
ReplyDeleteGood eatin'. I prefer mine roasted over an open spit.
ReplyDeleteFantastic post! Poor cat! LOL! Great video! You're right, very tooth-achingly sweet! LOL! Big Hugs!
