Don't worry, I'm not going to nag everyone
with gratitude memes like I did with
No, I'm going to mark American Thanksgiving
with a bunch of crazy LOLs instead!
Canadians aren't the only ones who don't
celebrate Thanksgiving in November.
The Brits, for example, take
an entirely different view of the occasion --
And speaking of the Pilgrims . . . .
And like every holiday, who does all the work?
The workload can be lightened by having
everyone bring something for the meal.
A Thanksgiving celebration
is all about good, clean fun. Isn't it?
And remember -- Thanksgiving is
for the whole family!
for the whole family!
Above all else, you know the topics to avoid today!
And speaking of politics --
Happy Thanksgiving,
American friends!
American friends!
I think that I have now gone OFF eating turkey anymore.
ReplyDeleteOMG - what a great way to get my day started! Hugs and thanks so much! RO
ReplyDeleteall about that baste, and the last 2.
ReplyDeletedid you see our orange turd say "the libruls want to rename thanksgiving"? what a buncha horseshit!
Gotta admit, that last one was absolutely da bomb!
ReplyDeleteHaha.
ReplyDeleteHappy Boat Day!
XoXo
You said it alright! Thank you for always enlightening us!
ReplyDeleteAs an American, I would be branded unpatriotic if ever I said what I really thought. lol And I probably wouldn't be alone. The only good thing about Thanksgiving is the huge paper we received this morning with all the sales.
Wish my husband would hurry up and read it and let me have my turn.
Happy, happy Thanksgiving to you!
ReplyDeleteThese are some very funny memes. I love the saving money in Christmas one.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thursday. AHAHAHAAAHAHAHhahahaaahahaa! I love these. It's almost 8 am and we just got back from eating at IHop for breakfast. I want so much to go back to sleep now.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, thanks for the laughs, and yes here in the UK it's just Thursday. Whoppee.
ReplyDeleteLaughing my ass off about that Trump Joe Biden meme. Thanks Deborah.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! The last one :) Happy...um...Thursday :)
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, I guess I am relegated to just happy Thursdays now, but I'll take what I can get. Here is a Thanksgiving stop-action animation. I'm sure the HRH can empathize.

Twerking turkey! Twurkey!
ReplyDeleteThat King of the hill one always cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI'd say that dancing raw bird is the stuff of nightmares, but I'll never be able to close my eyes again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laughs! Warren Ellis's sentiment is easy to sympathize with. Nobody wants a bunch of religio-nutters with belt buckles on their hats hanging around. Unfortunately, since arriving here, they've been trying to take over. It might have been for the best if they'd sailed into the Bermuda Triangle instead.
ReplyDeleteDinner rolls are too much work. I'd be that wild turkey and mashed potato guy.
And sure, if the family meal gets boring, just ask everyone what they think of the impeachment. Instant carnage.
Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteThat tweet you found from Warren Ellis made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteHappy Non-Turkey Day to you in CA, Debra! ;)
Hahha, great collection of Thanksgiving funnies!!
ReplyDeleteOh I'll take some Wild Turkey lol! Those are great funnies Debra. I've been watching the King of the Hill series lately before bed and I JUST saw that one with John Redcorn lol...
ReplyDeleteThe last one Debra, totally got me going... hahaha!
ReplyDeleteyou did a fine job collecting thanksgiving chuckles
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for knowing you.
Great post, Deb -- lots of belly laughs! I'm going to use that cat's approach to the next pumpkin pie I encounter... but I wish I could un-see that twerking turkey! Happy Thursday/ Thanksgiving/ Black Friday!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of turkey day memes. And any day can be turkey day.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday?
ReplyDeleteI'm totally stealing the turkey and mash potatoes... to pass it forward, of course!
ReplyDeleteVery funny. I'm late in commenting, and I normally would say, happy belated Thanksgiving, but since you're in Canada, a happy belated Thursday.
ReplyDeleteEach one was better than the last..Of course HRH in the pie was the best...
ReplyDeleteNo, no, no! I can't get rid of that twerking Turkey...………..
ReplyDeleteOMG that last one
ReplyDeleteSo many funnies!!! *Gobble Gobble*
ReplyDeleteNice to see a tweet from fellow Brit Warren Ellis here, good comics writer. Hope you enjoyed your turkey dinner. We have ours on Christmas day.
ReplyDeleteThe bourbon and vodka are perfect! Drinking is always my favorite part. I did have quite the headache that night! Great ending memes!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, Debs you managed to give me a good laugh while some of my family now thinks I'm nuts. So I had to share.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is so true. It is actually disheartening how many people just think of it as another day. Soon holidays will be a thing of the pass I surmise. Sadly.
LOL- Too funny! I always made the 'turkey dance' before stuffing him for the oven. No one seems to have picked up on that tradition. lol xoDiana
ReplyDeleteVery funny.
ReplyDeleteThe Trump turkey is the best! Quick! Cook him before he gets away. Thanksgiving is joyful for dogs all over the United States.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I always found that celebration a tad strange, because for me harvest should be in October, not late November.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a dose of tryptophan to knock me out sooner than usual.
ReplyDeleteI would say that Trump does speak out of that end .... and we had chicken this year instead!
ReplyDeletehahahaha..................
ReplyDeletethe money saving idea made me laugh so hard and trump one hahaha
you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you for lightening up my day dear Debra and happy Thanksgiving:)
These were hilarious! Thanks for the laughs, Debra, we need them down here...
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this post? LOL You are much better at finding funnies than I am! After cooking and cleaning up after a few Thanksgivings, I insist on going to a restaurant!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to thank the Americans for Black Friday, a tradition of greed that makes no sense since we don't have Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThat dancing chicken is going to be in my dreams tonight! LOL!
