Career Advice for Dr. Spo

Many of you know the good doctor Ur-spo who blogs at Spo-Reflections. (And if you don't, please check out his delightful blog!) He is a shrink who writes occasionally about office life (within the strict rules of doctor/patient confidentiality, of course.)

Lately, he's been musing about heavier workloads, fewer colleagues, retirement, etc.

So I have some career advice for him . . . .

Ditch humans as patients! They're so tiresome!

Get into cat therapy -- that's where the real money is! And I should know because I've paid a fortune in therapy fees for Her Royal Highness over her nine lives.

Just think -- this video could be your new professional reality!

  3. OMB, so damn funny!

I think spo would be a better doggie therapist; I think he likes doggies better. besides, his board of directors would probably try to eat the cats, knowing what evil filthy drunk vikings they are!

  21. Cat therapy? Purrrfect... and just think, each cat will have 9 lives' worth of trauma and neuroses to treat -- Ka-ching! Thanks for the belly laughs, Deb...

  22. I never realized that cats were so complex and introspective. I don't know what Dr. spo would do without them. This was clever and twisted, so naturally I enjoyed it!
