If Our Pets Earned Their Keep

Why can't our cats and dogs
bring home a six-figure salary?

Would it kill them to
go to medical school?

It's the least they could do!

HRH, are you listening?

  1. I'd hate to be the boss who had to keep a bunch of cats working at a full-time job.

  2. Rx, one cat to curl up on your lap and sleep the afternoon away. You will feel so much better afterwards.

  3. I wouldn't mind if they brought in FIVE-figure incomes. Dudo, however, would spend every last cent on toys. Moose would spend it on food. The cat in the operating room is perfect.

  4. My dog and two cats sleep all day. But they should maybe start earning their keep.

  5. I'm no expert, but it seems that half the time cats are exclaimed for their adroitness in never knocking down ornaments, and the other half they are blamed for their clumsiness in breaking everything in sight.

  9. Facebook is filled with cats and dogs who really and actually work in shops and hospitals and even have their little cards hanging around their necks. Actually, my editor, has an office cat, let us call him a feline editor, he is there laying on his desk every time I visit to get some new work and money.

  11. I tell my cat daily that if he wasn't so darned cute and cuddly that he would be out! We overlook the naughty stuff for a good cuddle! I love the Dr Cat with the limes and Tequila prescription!

  13. Cats are very wise. Some cases of stupid are just incurable. Also, those shiny surgical instruments are sooo hard not to play with!

  14. I giggled at the cat doctor knocking the tools off the table.

LOL, it's not the same as a medical doctor, but I'm pretty sure the cats at the local cat cafe are freelancing as therapists. I don't know for sure though, because I'd need so much benedryl to even go near the front door, that I'd be asleep in 5 minutes.

  17. ha, ha, very good. I'm not sure how our two could earn their keep. Rufus could be a food taster, Buster could be a life coach on how to live with phobias!!

  22. Yep, there are definitely a lot of cases of “stupid” going around! Love Dr. Meowadith Grey, but where’s McDreamy Dog when you need him? Doggone it, I just thought of a whole new meaning to Dr. McSteamy.

  27. A group of dogs here are currently being trained to sniff out people who have the virus. What a remarkable sense of smell they must have.
