  1. We had chickens for a while. It was interesting. Our rooster needed a sign like that one above except he could terrorize large humans also.

  6. Hello Debra, If you like chicken humor, I recommend Swimming Chickens, by Colin McEnroe. Only a few chapters are about chickens; the rest is about other animals. One of the funniest chapters is the one about his cat, Mackenzie.

  8. Maybe I should don a chicken hat. It can't be worse than my actual Covid hairdo.

  12. Although some farm animals turn to strips out of economic coercion, others choose this career as they would any other. PETA offers up many heartbreaking anecdotes but this is not the full story.

  13. Too much to mention here. SO good.

    "Chickens for McNuggets." Perfect.

The dinosaur chicken tenders really creeped me out.

  15. Dumb clucks won't ever go away. We can only hope they get bored and become less vocal.

  19. "Who the hell is Clucky?" Bwahahaha! And I totally agree with the chicken that created the meme about the unfairness of roosters being the only one allowed to scream in the morning. It's not fair.

  20. Oh those were hilarious, I love the Colonel Sanders one!!!

  21. I should be allowed to start the day screaming too. lol

  24. I want a hat like that. Think it is time for you to have another competition - not necessarily hats.

  25. Keeping chickens is not all fun and games. Long ago, when I was working in an office, one of my co-workers kept chickens. One day when she went into the coop to gather eggs, the rooster pecked right through her leather boot and drew blood!

  34. I lost some good tea laughing at "drag chicken". Also, whoever is in charge of KFC must have the wildest sense of humor. Did you see that "short movie" they produced with Lifetime (or it might have been Hallmark) about a young, hunky Col. Sanders in a romance-drama?

  35. @ Rommy -- Yes, I saw it online -- it was SO bizarre!

  36. Oh boy ~ I have been terrorized by a rooster! Loved the Drag Chicken! thanks for the laughs, Debra!
