The Munster's and Morticia meme had me roaring!!! That was a good one. And the comic with the full moon and the boy turning into the werewolf was a good one. I should have tried that with the lumbersexual and see if he is a werewolf?!?!?
There's an episode where Lily Munster's werewolf brother, who's also Grandpa's werewolf son, comes to visit. And we never get to meet Lily's mother, so she very well may be lycanthropic. Also, Grandpa turns himself into a canine in at least two episodes (believe it or not, there's actually a literary precedent, as Dracula is able to do that in Bram Stokes original novel) so it could just run in the family.
A bigger question may be the episode that ends with a visit from Uncle Gil, who turns out to be The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Who's brother is THAT?
But that's NOTHING compared to the early 1970s Saturday morning cartoon show Groovy Ghoulies, that asks us to believe EVERY monster, from Frankenstein to the Mummy to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, is related to Sabrina the Teenage Witch!
Hello Debra, That Physical Education poster was great. And Eddie was the best television werewolf. @Kirk--I loved that Uncle Gil episode, when Gil told a joke and Herman slapped him on the back, and water came spraying out! --Jim
Some delightful pics here! I enjoyed both The Munsters and The Addams Family. Did you read the Ray Bradbury stories about “the Family”? There was a boy who wished he could be as cool as his family of vampires, werewolves, etc. much like Marilyn, and Uncle Einar with the green wings, whose(human) wife makes him fly up with the washing to help it dry. The Addams Family were such nice people! They adored each other and were kindhearted towards others.
Hey, nothing wrong with werewolves! My so-far only published novel, Wolfborn, has them as the good guys. 🙂
i always skipped watching Adams family with my kids when they were little lol may be being poet i find pretty faces more appealing and yes less creepy :)
you rock as your ideas and memes last longer and keep making me smile always :) thank you for sprinkling joys around you precious Debra! hugs and blessings!
