You'll NEVER believe what happened!
My gnomes
Fearsome the Fierce
and Hengist the Hairy
have had a BABY!
The baby arrived the morning
of December 25, so
make of that what you will.
And here he is!
Say hello to:
Wulfbane the Wee!
Because he is just a baby,
Wulfbane has not been assigned
any official duties.
His parents will keep him
occupied and out of trouble.
Or . . .
WILL they?
Man, my Big Basket of Cushions
is getting CROWDED!

What a sweetie, is Wulfbane the Wee
ReplyDeleteWell, at least he hasn't fallen in the toilet yet.
ReplyDeleteHe’s cute and the name is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world, Wulfbane the Wee!
ReplyDeleteDebra, It's all your fault for being a negligent chaperone. Now it's your responsibility to provide for the new one, so no complaints about crowding or any incident expenses.

A lovely family, and a Christmas Baby!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! How Cute!
ReplyDeletehaha i so enjoyed this one dear Debra
ReplyDeletei think the baby is super cute and has right to look after well by parents :)
hope your Christmas was blast of fun and joy my friend ,higs and blessings and merry Christmas !
Hark the herald angels roam,
ReplyDeleteGlory to the new born gnome.
Awww, congratulations! He is adorable. (And I spot a Joanne original in that one picture, too! I have the same one). -Jenn
ReplyDelete@ coffeeontheporchewithme -- Yes, I have several of Joanne's handwoven tea towels! They are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt is a true miracle! And I love Mitchell's poem too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute post. The last photo made me laugh a wee bit. I hope your Christmas was filled with love, and am wishing you a happy new year.
ReplyDeleteIs Wulfbane the Wee getting ready to do some dancing to the music?
ReplyDeleteHi Debra...I' m ALWAYS glad to hear from you on my little blog. Happy holidays to you and of course you never cease to crack me up.
ReplyDeletejO
The wee one is wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI can see Wulfbane doing a bit of traveling as soon as he gets his bearings. There might be a Wulfbane Watch soon.
ReplyDeleteThere is always fun to be had at your site.
ReplyDeleteParthenogenesis, the gay dream! Young Wulfie is adorable, and my goodness, his beard came in early and lush!
ReplyDeleteBig lolz to Mitchell!
I just sketched two of these this AM..Love them..He looks like the gnome version of Elf on the shelf..adorable..
ReplyDeleteWulfbane the Wee. How CUTE!
ReplyDeleteSo many questions...like which one carried the baby? How long did they carry it, or was in a Christmas Miracle? And how did it come it?
ReplyDelete@ Moving With Mitchell -- Your alternative carol lyrics are a hit with all of us, you clever boots!
ReplyDelete@ Boud -- Oh now you're just giving me IDEERS.
ReplyDeleteWulfbane has two pappaers
ReplyDelete@ Mistress Maddie -- Well, I don't know! It's not like I watched Fearsome and Hengist go at it like crazed rabbits and then give birth -- I'm not THAT much of a voyeur, not really! Like e said in her comment, perhaps it was parthenogenesis but that requires two women, I believe. However, in gay male OTP shipping tropes, there's a concept called "mpreg" where one of the male couple has the ability to give birth after impregnation by the other. My bet is that this is what happened here.
ReplyDeleteWell said, Mitchell!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Wee I can figure out, my trouble is who is who? Mom, dad, dad, mom? I am so confused...
ReplyDeleteOh lovely. Another hungry mouth to feed. You had best put an end to this before you are overrun like Tribbles.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't you have gotten a replacement cat instead? Not every cat is as awful as HRH was, and they can be spayed or neutered.
Occam's Razor would indicate that either Fearsome or Hengist has a functioning uterus... in any event, Wee Wulfie is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteA class act.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
The three of them could be the next ZZ Top.
ReplyDeleteCan't you just build them a coop? I'm feeling like one of those old guys who says- okay, but not in the house.
ReplyDeleteThey look all twee and nice, but pretty soon they will tell you where to piss.
Did i remember to tell you that poppets are not to be trusted?
Oh well, we still have cats.
Good thing the baby was born in Canada. Zero delivery fee. I got a boy coming in June and these doctors ain't cheap 🤑
ReplyDelete@ Adam -- Congrats, that's wonderful news! You'll be a great Dad!
ReplyDeleteMazel Tov to the Gnome family!
ReplyDeleteThis brought me cheer. And I'm glad there wasn't a big gender reveal before hand. Those are just so uppity.
if that a baby gnome or a gnome little person???
ReplyDeleteydg is working out of old blog west by goddesstexas..renamed yellowdog granny..I hope they get this straighened out soon..pain in my pagan ass.
I think I see a large gnome collection for you in the future - better get another basket.
ReplyDeleteYellowdoggranny has moved. I found her new address thanks to your blog, Shewhoseeks. I was so worried, because i don't anyone else who does that job.

ReplyDeleteHugs June x
