For the first time, my pick for
this week's favourite post
from the blogosphere
is a TIE between two bloggers' posts,
both of which concern SUSHI!
Given that theme . . .
Drumroll, please,
Japanese taiko drummers!

The post pictured at the top is pretty good too. Let's have more.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices
ReplyDeleteI've never had a desire to try sushi. And living in New Mexico, whenever I see the sushi counter at Sprouts, I wonder if the fish came from the radioactive Rio Grande.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another great introduction (to Boots and Braids). Drummers are so hot, especially Japanese taiko drummers. Had I been a groupie, I would have followed the drummers.
ReplyDeleteHaving been a military survival instructor I have eaten and do eat almost anything, but SUSHI is not on my want to eat list.
ReplyDeletethe Ol'Buzzard
I’ll check them out.
ReplyDeleteColor me amazed to have made the cut and thanks for paring me up with Darling John. I've plans to make John's Chumaki Rolls sometime this week.
ReplyDeleteMore interesting blogs to check out!
ReplyDeleteThe shirtless drummers come in first for me.
ReplyDeleteYou can't trick me into looking at sushi pizza again.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of John's rolls, but Shirley's pizza sushi kinda scared me. I guess cuz it was called pizza and didn't look like peperoni!!
ReplyDeletewill check them out.
ReplyDeleteThis is great...Love meeting new bloggers
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Thanks for those two. I used to read Going Gently, then lost him when I had to get a new laptop.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a sushi person; never really enjoyed it whether it was cooked ingredients or raw.
ReplyDeleteSo.much.sushi early in the morning today--Thanks Deb!😳
Those taiko drummers are impressive. Even a salty old lesbian can admire that eye candy!
ReplyDeleteFunny theme for the post of the week. Sushi and a thieving rooster!
@ e -- Well, as I'm sure you know, "taiko" IS pronounced "dyke-o!"
ReplyDeleteI saw the drum players live once. The soundwaves coming out of those drums was incredible.
ReplyDeleteLast time I saw, and heard, taiko drummers was a few years ago in Thunder Bay. It was at the Busker Festival and they were amazingly loud. There were a dozen of them.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pi Day!
ReplyDeleteFine choices, and my pallet is primed for sushi now. Yum.
ReplyDeleteI can't keep up.
ReplyDeleteall i know about sushi is people end up eating raw fish oh hell

ReplyDeleteI have seen such drummers somewhere, probably a tv-show. They are marvellows. :)
ReplyDeleteTaiko drum intro. Can't get much cooler than that!
