Oh, these are funny! True lolz! Picking up dogs/cats is hilarious. Love the family photo, and look at the face of the all white cat in the Honest Citizen photo... terrifying! Did HRH deign to help with the selection? E
I do love dogs and the family always had dogs when I was growing up. I find cats just a bit easier to manage with all the moving and traveling we've done in the past. I believe the part where cats just think we are incompetent big cats. Our departed cat Dot would always bring us her toy mice as to say, "Here dumb human, I brought you some dinner."LOL Have a great week Debra!
@ Anonymous E -- I am a VERY BUSY and IMPORTANT cat. I have NO TIME to hang around THIS STUPID BLOG and help my INCOMPETENT HUMAN select content. Once in awhile I MAY write a post MYSELF but that's just A PITY POST to help raise the tone of this DREARY blog, THAT'S ALL.
I loved the humor in this post! I am a cat aficionado but I have to admit they are the grumpy introverts of the animal kingdom except when it is their choice for affection :)
I just don't agree - many cats are incredibly affectionate and needy. I have never met a cat that doesn't want cuddles and love in abundance. Perhaps I have just known nice cats.
HAHA! Loved these, Debra. Cat humour is my favourite. The one about cats teaching their humans to be obedient is true. My two furry beasts have both me and my husband jumping through hoops for them! LOL
The differences are hysterical. It is a wonder that many of us have cats instead of dogs. That cat in the last photo is awesome. He/she seems to identify as a dog.
Brilliant. I couldn't resist that post title.
ReplyDeleteThese made my day.
ReplyDeleteso funny and so true!
ReplyDeletePriceless. I laughed out loud at a number of these. Thank you, Debra.
ReplyDeleteLove all these. Yo a dog everything's his favorite! To a cat, surely you jest?
ReplyDeleteAll so true ... I wonder what Tuxedo did with my leash?
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteOMG
ReplyDeleteThe Honest Citizen one!!!
ROTFLMAOOOO
XOXO
These all gave me a chuckle, but I'm feeling a little sappy today, so the family photo is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I believe - cats win over dogs. The Demon Duo just look at me when they've done something I consider bad.

ReplyDeleteNo, of course not! What could I be thinking. I'll show myself out, shall I? (Escapes out the back.)

The "picking up the dog/cat is great...Zoey is so dog like..SHe fits the dog profile in the first one more than the cat..Mollie fits the cat!!
ReplyDeleteBeing a cat and sometimes dog person, I'm still laughing. You outdid yourself on this one.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've loved a post more.

ReplyDeleteI was trying to pet a cat at a friend's house and it bit me. Maybe it could tell I'm a dog person.
ReplyDeleteI just don't agree - many cats are incredibly affectionate and needy. I have never met a cat that doesn't want cuddles and love in abundance. Perhaps I have just known nice cats.
ReplyDeleteAll of these are excellent. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThis was funny. XD I like the comparison of picking up dogs vs. picking up cats.
ReplyDelete-Quinley
I just love them all!! Thanks for the chuckles this awfully hot Tuesday! 🥵
ReplyDeleteI do highly prefer dogs 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
ReplyDeleteI've owned both cats and dogs, sometimes at the same time. I enjoy both.
ReplyDeleteYeah my late cat was like this a lot. It was....interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that a larger percentage of feline brain power isn't dedicated to being assholes. Give me a goofy, affectionate dog any day!
ReplyDeleteAs for cat, they don't care what we think.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Cats surely know how to express emotion with body language.
ReplyDeleteThat says it all. I have no cat at the moment, and I miss having one around. I make do with just one dog.
ReplyDeleteI can believe that a cat has a large area of brain thinking about food. My son's cat has food constantly on his mind.
ReplyDeleteI am very bad at being a cat. But the cats keep trying to train me to be better.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing SO hard at the disapproving cat face!
ReplyDeleteNot even the skeptics of science, nor HRH, can argue these facts.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Debra.
Yep, that totally describes my Punkerpuss. And I love her to death.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is why I love cats and don't like dogs. :D
ReplyDeleteThis is so much fun to browse through these memes and pics.

ReplyDeleteGreat post. I LOVE dog vs cat memes.

I think the bit about cats thinking we are just inept cats probably explains everything!
ReplyDeleteHere's one for you:

Wonderful. I adore dogs but you have to admire those cats.
ReplyDelete@ Frank -- Awwwwww! thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteAll true.
ReplyDeleteThe differences are hysterical. It is a wonder that many of us have cats instead of dogs. That cat in the last photo is awesome. He/she seems to identify as a dog.
ReplyDeleteThis really does it justice. I sure miss our three cats and big German Shepherd.
ReplyDeleteA fellow from outer space would look at all the negative cat jokes/memes and wonder why on earth does anyone have one?
ReplyDeleteThe cat's face in the affection picture... I snort-laughed, it was so awesome
