  6. These all gave me a chuckle, but I'm feeling a little sappy today, so the family photo is my favorite.

  7. And, I believe - cats win over dogs. The Demon Duo just look at me when they've done something I consider bad.

  8. Oh, these are funny! True lolz! Picking up dogs/cats is hilarious. Love the family photo, and look at the face of the all white cat in the Honest Citizen photo... terrifying!
Did HRH deign to help with the selection?

  9. I do love dogs and the family always had dogs when I was growing up. I find cats just a bit easier to manage with all the moving and traveling we've done in the past. I believe the part where cats just think we are incompetent big cats. Our departed cat Dot would always bring us her toy mice as to say, "Here dumb human, I brought you some dinner."LOL Have a great week Debra!

  10. @ Anonymous E -- I am a VERY BUSY and IMPORTANT cat. I have NO TIME to hang around THIS STUPID BLOG and help my INCOMPETENT HUMAN select content. Once in awhile I MAY write a post MYSELF but that's just A PITY POST to help raise the tone of this DREARY blog, THAT'S ALL.

  13. I don't think I've loved a post more.

  14. I loved the humor in this post! I am a cat aficionado but I have to admit they are the grumpy introverts of the animal kingdom except when it is their choice for affection :)

  15. I was trying to pet a cat at a friend's house and it bit me. Maybe it could tell I'm a dog person.

  16. I just don't agree - many cats are incredibly affectionate and needy. I have never met a cat that doesn't want cuddles and love in abundance. Perhaps I have just known nice cats.

  23. I'm surprised that a larger percentage of feline brain power isn't dedicated to being assholes. Give me a goofy, affectionate dog any day!

  24. As for cat, they don't care what we think.

  25. Cats surely know how to express emotion with body language.

  26. That says it all. I have no cat at the moment, and I miss having one around. I make do with just one dog.

  27. I can believe that a cat has a large area of brain thinking about food. My son's cat has food constantly on his mind.

  28. I am very bad at being a cat. But the cats keep trying to train me to be better.

  29. I'm laughing SO hard at the disapproving cat face!

  30. Not even the skeptics of science, nor HRH, can argue these facts.
    Well done, Debra.

  34. HAHA! Loved these, Debra. Cat humour is my favourite. The one about cats teaching their humans to be obedient is true. My two furry beasts have both me and my husband jumping through hoops for them! LOL

  41. The differences are hysterical. It is a wonder that many of us have cats instead of dogs. That cat in the last photo is awesome. He/she seems to identify as a dog.

    ReplyDelete
  42. This really does it justice. I sure miss our three cats and big German Shepherd.

    ReplyDelete
  43. A fellow from outer space would look at all the negative cat jokes/memes and wonder why on earth does anyone have one?

  44. The cat's face in the affection picture... I snort-laughed, it was so awesome
