I don't miss a lot of that shit! Im sort of on my own at my new job setting my hours and such. But still hate a Monday. Must be why i appreciated the last one.
These are really funny. I’m so glad I don’t work in a “proper “ job anymore It’s bad enough I have to deal with people when I go to the shopping Centres these days lol
Beer improving the meeting - Reminds me when I first went to the UK for a project and they offered beer and wine with our lunch. I told them that was unusual for the US business lunches. (maybe I just didn't work in the right department)
Yes - and when I reach that point in the story that slapping seems the best way to end it, I always had to sit on my hands and clench my teeth and afterward take a walk for as long as possible.
These are hilarious, Debra! It's hard to pick a favorite. It's hard to top the look on Nicolas Cage's face, maybe having to tell HR your joke or the raccoon one. I couldn't even remember Labor Day. I had to go back and look at my journal. Fortunately my brain fog is clearing. Have a good one!
Beer does work once in a while. However, it does need perfect comedic timing to make it functional.
ReplyDeleteLike if you're walking by a classroom and you shout "Beer!" as an answer to a question.
