  1. I love that there was an actual cheese ad with Dracula! Gotta love how cheesy old advertising was! Literally and punnishly!

  6. Ha - what a fine tribute to vampires - funny and clever. That cheese wiz ad is hilarious. And the vampire repellent garlic - what a find! I would love to see my local grocery do something like that.

  7. This is hilarious! I got into terrible trouble with a Vincent Price fan for mixing him up with Dennis Price. I was already confused because an er doctor who attended my partner was named Vincent Price. That caused some anxiety, I can tell you, especially the blood draw..

  9. Hahahaha love!
Vincent Price will forever be cool. He was cool when he became ice cold and did the rap in Michael Jackson's Thriller, natch.
    Also, Bela Lugosi. Yes, please!

  20. First time i laughed out loud today. Thank you. The vitamin D joke was my favorite. Vincent Price always made my parents nervous. They liked him, they agreed with him pretty much, but it was really not suitable content for us kids.
Decades later, i learn that he was a complicated, openminded artist. Mom thought if us kids watched too much Vincent Price, we would turn out gay. Well, she was only partly right.

  29. Acutally, vampires can walk during daytime, they just have reduced powers. It is Murnau that told us sunlight kills them.

  34. These are so funny, Debra! I especially like the Cheez Whiz one and the vampire bunny. My sister Donnie loves Cheez Whiz, and she is going through a difficult time right now, so I'm going to send it to her. And the bunny reminds me of Bunnicula, which I read to my kiddos almost every year I taught. Have a good one!
