This reminds me to start thinking about putting the tree up. As I have gotten older, the tree has gotten smaller. I have a tabletop tree now. Thanks for the smiles!
The Art of the Christmas Tree jokes are funny. Thank you. It will be a good project to learn more about some of the unfamiliar artists this Yule Season. Rothko and merry christmas in the same sentence. Who knew?
The artist versions of holiday trees were great! Very clever. And, love that last meme... it's always a risk putting up a tree with shiny, dangling ornaments in a house with a cat. Pierre even chewed the branches of the fake tree.
The art of Christmas trees is very clever. In Ukraine we put up a real tree downstairs and a fake one upstairs. Our three cats rarely if ever bothered the ornaments. Weird cats I guess.
That is why I always get stuck hosting Christmas - my house is without a cat.
ReplyDeleteHahaha
ReplyDeleteOh, that Cannabis tree! And kitties and xmas tree are really not friends, right??

P.S. I'd love a Kahlo tree, btw.

I like the Dali tree, but the Rothko seems too representational.
ReplyDeleteAfter all those heathen altars it is nice to see you adopt some wholesome Christian imagery. Perhaps there is salvation for you yet.
I love the art of Christmas tree. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny on the tree analogies. The cats gave the attitudes in the end. So cool
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is about our cats but we've never had even one bother the tree; oh, they sleep under it like they're camping out!

ReplyDeleteLOL....some good ones there, but my favorite is the last cat. The look on it's face.....priceless.
ReplyDeleteThe tape on the box! HAHAHA Yes, that would certainly reveal the age of our Christmas tree! Good ones, Debra!

ReplyDeleteBetter make sure that Mary Jane Christmas tree gets a lot of water. Tt catches on fire, you're going to have a lot of stoned first responders.
ReplyDeleteI love the last one, all of those toys and HRH is not allowed to play with them.
ReplyDeleteThe last one. Hilarious and very true. Although Domino behaves now with the Christmas tree. Most of the time.
ReplyDeleteLoved this, Debra! I particularly love Mirรณ's tree. I just realized that Christmas is 18 days away. ๐ฑ This is why I drink, Debra! ๐
ReplyDeleteMy tree is getting long in the tooth and the boxes of decorations is becoming larger and more numerous.
ReplyDeleteIt is 11 December I just hauled in the tree. I hope it is up soon.
