NICE DOGGY!
Oh oh, why do I feel like
a little pig in a straw house
all of a sudden?

Fabulous wolf sketching.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday.
Much💜love
The wolf looks pretty sanguine to me. But it is not a doggy! Don't be lupophobic!
ReplyDeleteWow, very well done!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so friendly.
The other day I saw different expressions on TV (esp East Germany has by now too many wolves...)
Nice!
ReplyDeleteI'm forever jealous of artists, btw.
XOXO

Hello Debra, Now no cat, including HRH, is ever going to feel welcome in your home again!
ReplyDelete--Jim
In Alaska they kill the wolves to protect the moose so they can kill the moose.
ReplyDeleteI have always seen wolves as the icon of true wilderness.
the Ol'Buzzard

That is gorgeous! Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh...... Nice doggy indeed. You are such an accomplished artist. This is stunning. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. That beautiful wolf will settle on a bed of straw and be your fried.
ReplyDeleteYou drew a picture of our doggy.

Ours looks exactly like the "black and tan".
Shiba Inu's are more closely related to wolfs than any other dog breed.
@ Mike -- So cool! Thanks for letting me know!
ReplyDeletegrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
ReplyDeleteFormidable.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteHe is magnificent
ReplyDeleteOr is it a she?
Either way. Beautiful work.
That is a stunning portrait!
ReplyDeleteNow if you do a elephant I may have to pay you for it!!!!! I would buy it!!! The wolf is lovely though too Debs.
ReplyDeleteLovely puppy dog.
ReplyDeleteI been creative also.
Coffee is on and stay safe.
That wolf has wolf eyes. He looks intent.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! This is really an amazing drawing. And wolves are definitely something special. Have a wonderful weekend. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThis is drop dead gorgeous, Debra. You draw SO WELL. BTW, congrats on being the artist of the week.
ReplyDeleteGood sketch -- I've had Timber wolves stare exactly like that at me!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ol'Buzzard too: wolves are a much maligned species and have suffered horribly in North America because of myths perpetuated by European folklore and Hollywood. Contrary to popular belief, wolves don't attack humans (I've only known of one to have lunged at a guy in a garbage dump who was carrying sandwiches in his backpack). Coyotes, cougars and mountain lions are the predators to worry about when in the great outdoors.
Timber wolves are shy, wary creatures that might track you in the bush, but you won't see one unless it wants you to. And an Arctic wolf once saved my life by coming between me and a polar bear, so I have nothing but respect for wolves!
Wow!
ReplyDeleteNice that he/she is not showing any teeth.
ReplyDeleteHe is BEAUTIFUL!!
ReplyDeleteYour drawing of the wolf is lovely. I too have always loved painting and drawing, mainly tigers and portraits.
ReplyDelete@ Tundra Bunny -- Wow! Saved from a polar bear by a wolf! What a day that must have been, yowza!
ReplyDeleteFantastic wolf sketch ~ Wow!
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
That wolf is thinking interesting thoughts. Look at that expression!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous wolf! How very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat wolf....so realistic it seemed I could touch real fur. You are an expert with that pen and ink. Also I scrolled a little and read some of those signs. LOL that schoolbus!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have captured the intensity in his eyes and I am guessing that is why you suddenly feel like a little Pig in a Straw house. I would take a few steps back if I were you 😁
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From the Sol
Someone needs to draw you a brick house.
ReplyDeleteIt is not my job. Usually,as an old male primate, I avoid these alpha wolves. I always felt like an Orangutan, but I never thought it would come to this.
ReplyDeleteI've concluded Tundra Bunny needs a blog, so we can hear more of these very cool and interesting stories!!!!! I would love to see a polar Bear and wolves....from a safe distance of course.
ReplyDeleteLovely drawing as per usual Debra - but don't be taken in by his friendly appearance.
ReplyDeleteExcellent drawing!
ReplyDeleteHis face is much too kindly! Or is it a trap to lure you in before he pounces?
ReplyDeleteWow! Deb, this is a lovely piece of art. The wolf looks as though he could be a Friend Or Foe, depending on his mood.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous wolf drawing.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is fabulous! I love all the details.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creature!
ReplyDeleteyour skills of painting are Breathtaking dear Debra !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved this one too
