What a wonderfully funny compilation. I laughed the most about "mine is a bouncy castle". I'm not very into temples because I'm more of a nature child. Maybe my body is an autumn garden. Lush, but a bit worn down. It takes work but it can bring enjoyment. Sometimes something grows on it that shouldn't grow here. And some things don't grow as well as they used to. Have a good time! My temple has been added onto a bit over the past decade.
ReplyDeleteMy temple has been slightly neglected but it keeps some of its former splendor. It'll need more than HGTV to get back in shape, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Oy, my temple. I laugh at all of these, and while my temple may be parts of it all, it's that last one I think describes my temple best.
ReplyDeleteThe Catholic Church one is perfect!
ReplyDeleteMy body is a temple.
ReplyDeleteAll sinners may enter.
After this weekend, that first one sums me up today perfectly!!
ReplyDelete@ Moving with Mitchell -- Hahahaha, you wag!
ReplyDeleteMy temple's a bit stiff and wrinkly, but you'd never mistake it for a church full of Pharisees.
ReplyDeleteThe bouncy house is a perfect description of what use to be a tall, beautiful, thin single person residence! I am 80 today!
ReplyDelete@ Marcia LaRue -- Happy Birthday, Marcia! Enjoy your Special Day!
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear Debra! ♥️
DeleteMy body is a temple to Sybarites!
ReplyDeleteI hope my body is not filled with delusional hypocrites as a temple would be. I prefer to think of it as a garden, full of life and color.
ReplyDeleteI like Uloma's comeback.
ReplyDeleteFor every temple, there are decrees.
ReplyDeleteI’m Greek so obviously my temple is in ruins
ReplyDeleteBut omg has it seen some wild times lol
My body has never been a Temple!
ReplyDeleteThese were all funny!
That last one covers my life. As when I told the dr. "I eat butter. Deal with it."
ReplyDeleteEach one of these is hilarious. It really makes me question the saying; it's a weird one.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
That last one is me.
ReplyDeleteSo many appropriate ones! Can't decide whether I'm catholic church or bouncy castle. Well, bit of both actually.

ReplyDeleteJust what I needed. Tickled my Mexican-restaurant-liquor-store-bouncy-house temple!
ReplyDeleteLike the "my body is a night club" one. XD
ReplyDelete-Quinley
My body is not a temple but a castle. White Castle.
ReplyDeleteBread, wine, and guilt...that one gave me a good chuckle as I can relate due to my Catholic upbringing.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what my body is
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Where on Earth do you find these?
ReplyDeletePretty much.
ReplyDeleteI love every one of these!
ReplyDeletemy body is holding hostage a soul still in its 20s.
ReplyDeleteI had to Google Image the first picture though I was pretty sure what it was about. Curiosity will be the death of me but I have to know everything.
ReplyDeleteBig round of applause for the last one. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time to present the tea offering in my temple.
