  1. I will say, Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter was πŸ”₯

It's a shame the live action her was cut in half so soon by Wanda πŸ™ˆ

  2. Is it the man or the body suit that gets me hot? Let's take him out of it and I'll find out for sure. But Chris.....he just may be the hottest Captain.

Now that you mention it, I'm going to go rewatch all his movies. Especially the first one. Delicious.

  9. Heck, with the right suit I could be Captain America, senior division.

  10. Hello Debra, I know you have featured Captain America several times, but I still don't get it. Is he somehow different from, say, Superman or Spiderman? Or is he perhaps Canadian? --Jim

  11. I love the 'alternate' captains! That's what the real 'Merica is supposed to look like!

  12. There's only one Captain America for me ... Chris Evans. He and Bucky are the be all/end all.

  13. @ Parnassus (Jim) -- Superheroes are modern American mythology, which is why the genre fascinates me. Every superhero has his/her own unique backstory. Captain America is mentioned here as often as he is because he is my fave. Alas, not a Canadian. "I'm just a kid from Brooklyn."

  14. @ BootsandBraids -- I couldn't agree more! In the photo of the little boy cosplaying Captain America, did you recognize Sebastian Stan beside him, the actor who plays the Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes?

  15. BWAHAHAHAHA, I love the guy getting blasted in the leg. And the guy that did the shooting starts to take off in the other direction. "I'm outa here".

  16. We were watching a show the other day and they were playing videos of young men doing extremely stupid things.
And I realised that’s why women live longer.
    We don’t do dumb shit

  17. I don't think any of those captains are mine. I need an ADA captain.

    Love,

  18. Captain America: a testament to the benefits of performance-enhancing drugs. (I am more of a Superia acolyte myself.)

  31. Captain America could and should be anyone, and I LOVE alternate versions of our favorite characters. (The animated spider-man movies into the multiverse are like comics porn for me!) I LOVED the Agent Carter Captain America from the short-lived What-If animated series. I want a movie of her as a cap. (But I'd still rather bump uglies with Captain Chris!)
