Is it the man or the body suit that gets me hot? Let's take him out of it and I'll find out for sure. But Chris.....he just may be the hottest Captain.
Hello Debra, I know you have featured Captain America several times, but I still don't get it. Is he somehow different from, say, Superman or Spiderman? Or is he perhaps Canadian? --Jim
@ Parnassus (Jim) -- Superheroes are modern American mythology, which is why the genre fascinates me. Every superhero has his/her own unique backstory. Captain America is mentioned here as often as he is because he is my fave. Alas, not a Canadian. "I'm just a kid from Brooklyn."
@ BootsandBraids -- I couldn't agree more! In the photo of the little boy cosplaying Captain America, did you recognize Sebastian Stan beside him, the actor who plays the Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes?
We were watching a show the other day and they were playing videos of young men doing extremely stupid things. And I realised that’s why women live longer. We don’t do dumb shit

Captain America could and should be anyone, and I LOVE alternate versions of our favorite characters. (The animated spider-man movies into the multiverse are like comics porn for me!) I LOVED the Agent Carter Captain America from the short-lived What-If animated series. I want a movie of her as a cap. (But I'd still rather bump uglies with Captain Chris!)
I will say, Hayley Atwell as Captain Carter was π₯
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame the live action her was cut in half so soon by Wanda π

Oh, yes.
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention it, I'm going to go rewatch all his movies. Especially the first one. Delicious.
XOXO
Haha.. beared Chris Evans forever!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite captain is still Chris Evans but the imitations are still fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Heck, with the right suit I could be Captain America, senior division.

ReplyDeleteI love the 'alternate' captains! That's what the real 'Merica is supposed to look like!
ReplyDeleteThere's only one Captain America for me ... Chris Evans. He and Bucky are the be all/end all.

ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHAHA, I love the guy getting blasted in the leg. And the guy that did the shooting starts to take off in the other direction. "I'm outa here".
ReplyDeleteThis is so invigorating!

I don't think any of those captains are mine. I need an ADA captain.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Captain America: a testament to the benefits of performance-enhancing drugs. (I am more of a Superia acolyte myself.)
ReplyDeleteI had a Captain America Motorcycle helmet, back in the 70's.
ReplyDeleteThere will only ever be one Captain America to me: Chris Evans.... ROWRRRRR!
ReplyDeleteIt may also be the last that fellow has ten toes.
ReplyDeleteI had fun with this one. Thanks!
ReplyDeletei have a Captain America movie on a usb somewhere, but haven't ever watched it. Now I'm wondering which Captain I've got.
ReplyDeleteDear Debra,

My favourite is the one from the old 60s cartoon. So deliciously cheesy.
ReplyDeleteI like me some Captain in the Chris Evans suit♥
ReplyDeleteChris Evans forever! No one does it like him!
ReplyDeleteAwesome and your favourite is mine as well haha
ReplyDeleteHugs
I love Chris as Captain America, but the little boy is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI will take the last one provided he stop swearing.
