Good ole dogs! That first one is so true... I miss little Angus every time food hits the floor. I'm mean, sure he was picky, but all in all a decent garbage disposal.
Also, that last one seems absolutely reasonable. Would endorse. Cheers!
Speaking of tokenism, as an exiled survivor of Middle-Earth, I can't remember any dogs in the whole loooong story. I know that there had to be dogs. Oh yes!!! Now I remember! Farmer Maggot had dogs on his farm called Bamfurlong, at the beginning of the adventure. We never did hear what happened to them. Hopefully they lived happily.
Awww, that puppy watching YouTube training videos is just too cute! This post is a much-needed antidote to your 3-eyed Cujo and Psycho 'Roo from yesterday -- they really gave me the heebie jeebies...
Witnessing my neighbour's Corgi run, jump and roll around in the snow today with such pure, unadulterated joy helped too. Cats just don't bring that, LOL!
It's true: I never have to pick up spilled food or drink. Princess does all the yoga poses, including upside down dog on the bed, which leads to her falling off the bed and looking surprised by it.
Love the boy showing training videos to his dog. Lucky got half a pork chop today because I left it where he could reach it to help Tanya with something.
We walk Daisy, our new grand-dog, along the boardwalk and she chases the squirrels. She’s such a dog!
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with several dogs on my walk today. Don't tell the cats.
ReplyDeleteHRH allows you to make one non-cat post a month? I am surprised she is so lenient.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad to see that grade inflation has even hit dog ratings.
@ Old Lurker -- Yes, HRH's paw was forced when this blog received a complaint that it practises anti-dog discrimination. So now it practises tokenism.
ReplyDeleteOy, the punim on the dog with something "caught" in his teeth! 💓💓💓
ReplyDeleteYou could suggest that to the official, unofficial day of people. HRH would like an official month dedicated to staying home and annoying your cat.
ReplyDeleteGreat yoga. I expect hrh thinks call that yoga? I'll give them yoga!
ReplyDeleteLove these!!!
ReplyDeletebobbie
The dog yoga squirrel pose looks a lot like my reaction to a pretty leaf, while I'm running, but in reverse. 😁
ReplyDeleteThe dog print cookie is so funny! Oh I do love dogs too! But cats are my spirit animal, I've always loved them since I was tiny. Great post Debra!
ReplyDeleteThe light is gray. Ha!
ReplyDeleteso cute! hope you had a happy halloween!

Just yesterday, I saw a cartoon of cat yoga. Only one position being practiced....the upward-turning nose! All the cats did it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI had to steal a few of these. I couldn't help myself.
ReplyDeleteThe food doesn't even have to hit the floor with our dog. If you drop something in your lap your going to have a dog in your lap too.

A boy and his dog. Is there anything more adorable except maybe a little girl
ReplyDeleteChildren and animals always make me smile
Well, that dog looks like he is learning, so the kid obviously knows what he is doing. --Jim
