Today's Bible Verse: "Jesus Wept"

  1. Every. Damn. One. Of. These.

I have some dear friends who are Christian and actually strive to live a life in line with Jesus's teachings. They are among the kindest people I know. Then there are all the other fools described in this meme... I wish they would just stick to annoying each other.

  2. Sad and true. Jesus would be weeping now.

  5. These are all so good! Especially that second one. And the one about Christianity being taught in school first has to be taught in church? Oh snap!

  9. Wow! What a collection! I think Little Mermaid was my favorite! Followed closely by the rich evangelical on the beach...yah, that whole "camel through the eye of the needle" was just a silly metaphor, but everything I wanna believe is literal truth!! Sure, Jan!!

  11. I agree with every word of this. Meanwhile, I hope we can stay strong and help each other.

  13. I would literally pay thousands to see that episodes of undercover boss
I may go to hell laughing but at least I saw those asshats go too

  14. In that first meme, Jesus also needs a can of beer or some vodka on the rocks. Watching the people who call themselves Christians would definitely drive Jesus to drink.

    Love,
    Janie

  15. Your choice of memes really hit the spot today and rubbed it out, Debra! That last one especially -- I don't know whether to laugh or cry anymore!

  18. Well, I didn't have "Sunday School with Auntie Debra" on my 2024 bingo card, but I'm game. I wonder what next week's Bible verses will be? Deuteronomy 18:10-12? Ephesians 6:5?

  19. well said all of them
I have never once found anything in the Rotten Orange that resembles anything Christian like.

  21. American politics is so weird. I don't get how a candidate like Trump, who's practically under indictment, is even allowed to run for office.

  22. I absolutely love these, especially the last one.

  23. These are all painfully true. I've reached the point where I despise christians. I'm anti-religion in general but this cult has become so toxic.

  24. Sadly...Too true..I hope they don't do it again..Good chance..We are in big trouble..

  27. How dare you post this on SUNDAY. Did you use your smartphone in the back pew of the church to write and post it?
Best one - "...problem is Christianity isn't taught in Church."
Oh they should disconnect the wi-fi at that church you were at.

  28. @ Bill Lisleman -- Hahahahahahaha, you caught me!

  29. Oh shit.
Prophetic. Joel Osteen DID get a visit, did you know??

  30. @ Sixpence Notthewiser -- Yes, I heard. The visitor wasn't Jesus though.

  31. Dear @ sixpence notthewiser - This is not our fight. I was not surprised at all to hear about another Christian suicide. Maybe I would do the same, if I lived in their world. But I don't.
It is not anything that we can fix. Sometimes you just have to learn to live with the Christians.

  32. I think Christianity would be much better off if like Buddhism it was 100% the founders' words and not his miracles, or for that matter his supposed divinity. You wouldn't think it would be this way, but I think the alleged divinity allows at least some people to give short shrift to the words.

  33. I may have to steal these. Republican Jesus Christians are the antitheses of everything in the gospels.Have you noticed they want the Ten commandments posted but never the Beatitudes? In fact pastors who have preached on them have been asked after church why they teach such woke left wing stuff and are shocked to find out is is the words of Christ.
