These were all funny. But, they remind me of that forbidden elixir. I still love the smell of coffee but I had to quit drinking it. Sob! I'm a tea drinker now. xoxo
Love the trip back to 1973. Except that given the oil embargo, you might not have enough gas to make it to that coffee shop! (At least here in the U.S. I don't know if Canada was affected.)
Forget Monday morning coffee, I'm like Scratch the prehistoric squirrel, sniffing out my cup o'joe EVERY morning, LOL! My Keurig is always primed the night before: water topped up, K-cups ready and a clean coffee mug under the spout -- all I have to do is stagger out of bed and while still blear-eyed, that delicious coffee aroma is wafting up my nose...
Chuckle! Love it. Though I confess I had to give up coffee, except an occasional iced coffee, which I drink as a refreshment with lunch, knowing I’m not going to get hooked on it. I was having broken sleep. My doctor told me even drinking it on the way to work in the morning could keep me awake.
Enough with the cats already. Either you do, or you don't. I've been hearing that cats have an association with schizophrenia. Is that what happened to me? Me personally, I like cats. I don't trust them, but I like them. There are places where they should not be. Do I have toxoplasmosis? Am I schizophrenic just because I loved a cat? Did some weird fearful virus sneak into my pagan head? I think we can do better concerning our relations with cats. They are not human, that is why we love them.
...enjoy your coffee, i's just not for me!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha
ReplyDeleteThe 'Decaf only' one!!!
And I have to admit that I hate Starbucks coffee. Ugh.

ReplyDeleteThe bit about not biting people. That's me.
ReplyDeleteI have to share this page with my Sister In Law, she will love it. Decaf, why bother?
ReplyDelete"I'll slap you so hard, even google won't find you" made me laugh out loud. I'm stealing this to use in real life:)

ReplyDeleteA morning without coffee is like...

ReplyDeleteGreat memes!!
ReplyDeleteTruly the nectar of gods and mens.
ReplyDeleteI want the ten cents and a smoke one to make a comeback. Ex-smoker here .... ah the bad old days.
ReplyDeleteI think I did decaf once this year (wasn't by choice, but the regular coffee was out), and Starbucks is just too expensive for my suburban tastes.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same about tea but it doesn't have quite the dramatic flourish that coffee has.
ReplyDeleteHa ha 1973.
ReplyDeleteStill can't stand it, too bitter
