  10. One of our local restaurants has a Burns fest, which includes poetry reading and a haggis procession. I will get there some day.

  11. Ach! Love these! I follow several Scots on social media and sometimes when they are talking with their friends I can't understand a single damned word. Cammy of 'The Sheep Game' used to recite a Burns poem on Burns Day - very nice of hear it in the proper accent.

    Ah, my boyfriend is Scottish so I have a fondness to the Scots (and Irish) You may know him, Gerard Butler, just Gerry to me though. :-)

  14. I loved Scotland when I visited. I’ve learnt that haggis Is different when traveling around Scotland.
    The burns ward was funny

  24. I totally forgot about Robert Burns Day. I remember it was a thing in Liverpool, somewhat. I had haggis and scotch for meal in a Wetherspoon. Speical menu.
