  2. Hi Debra, The best part of the furniture one is that there should be an apostrophe in "Goodwyn's Furniture".

    1. @ Panassus -- You're right! And I missed it because I was too busy looking at all the unnecessary apostrophes, LOL! Thanks for your sharp editorial eye!

  3. I’m heading into my second week of pestilence with a mild but miserable case of Covid. Was able to avoid it till now but I must have let my guard down.

  4. It feels like Apocalypse all right.

  5. Procrastination. Yes, I will be the Fifth Horseman, once I get a few things done, and shower, and then try and find a horse.

  6. The perfect four man crew for that one way flight to explore Mars.

  11. Echoing Tom's comment at a true King vs. wannabe king.
I stole that last one about McPocalypse.

  12. 😬 A good friend once tried, unsuccessfully, to get me to go white-water rafting. I tried very hard to say no without calling her mental health into question, as in "are you out of your f'ing mind?" I wish I would've had your oarsmen meme. I could've said "look, any activity so dangerous that Death wears a life vest for it should be avoided at all costs!" 😱😂

  13. I think the second worst thing about having to work with trump, would be all that shitty food. The first thing would have to be, pretending he's not insane. I don't have a poker face.

  14. The cartoon with the cat as Famine had me dying. I laughed really hard at that one because it's sooooo true. And Naughty Wilber. . . made me wonder. Ahahahaaahahaahahaaaa!

  15. We've got to laugh lest we break down and sob.
I did like the Goodwyn's' sign. And much of the rest. It's just... such a terrible day and a preface to a terrible four years. Sigh.

  16. I guess Misinformation FINALLY stocked up on enough toilet paper to join the other horsemen...

@Cleora Borealis -- "any activity so dangerous that Death wears a life jacket is to be avoided at all costs".... AHAHAHAHA!

  18. The McPocalypse? On target.
But I have to say that those Chihuahuas are ADORABLE and that Goodwyns Furniture needs to be preserved. I don't think anybody else in the English Speaking world could achieve THAT.

    XOXO

  20. I only know two of those “men”
But that’s enough to worry anyone.

  21. The first three dogs are way too cute for such lousy names, but the cat shelter I foster for gives litters themed names. I wonder if that's what they were doing there.

  22. Everything else is online, why not the apocalypse?

  23. What should be Goodwyn's Furniture with its Sofa's Ottoman's Monkey's Motorcycle's makes me want to scream and run in circles.

  25. LOVE the 2nd to last one. I don't know how we're going to get through these next years. I read a Washington Post article this am about all the horrible things he's already put in motion. I hurt when I think about him, his cult who are soooooo clueless. I've not been on FB this is day 3, the day before, the day off and today the day after. To protest Zuckerjerker stopping fact checking; and I didn't watch anything about thim becoming official. Hope lots of folks didn't watch, so he'll have low tv numbers.

  26. I couldn't watch. I caught the best parts on Colbert and Meyers.

  27. Debra, I thank you for your contribution to my insanity.

  28. I love all of these, but cracking up at the furniture one. Yes, you are right, it will be too late.

  29. Ugh! That cartoon by mcGarry! Kennedy should be forever drawn with a worm sticking out of his head somewhere.

  31. I would just LOVE a theramin. There was a section about it in a doc about Midsomer Murders -- the theramin is used in the theme song and you could see the musician "playing" or guiding it. Fascinating!

  32. The last two ~ hysterical ~ but how scary!
