I love the diversity panels. Except I have to admit I think crocs are (looks around nervously) um, silly looking.. But I've been tempted. Just for the garden..
"A pair of shoes that fits." Debra, what fantasy world are you living in? --Jim p.s. Crocs for me are the most uncomfortable of all--pure torture. I thought they might be good for creek hiking.
I wear navy blue Crocs everyday! A pair of Walmart knock-off crocs for when my feet are swollen. Then, 3 other pairs in my bedroom closet! I started wearing them after my first knee replacement surgery and now, I can't wear "regular" shoes! <--- yup! Gave all of those away! Most comfortable shoes ever!
Personally they are comfy shoes. I would have loved to have worn a pair like the nurses did at the hospital I worked in. It's just that when you work with chemicals and blood and other human waste products in the lab, it was not a good idea to wear shoes with holes in them. They are comfy though.
I agree that Crocs are ugly but they are handy for the garden, toting the bins to the curb, camping... Honestly, why the hate people? Might as well hate Louboutins with their vivid red soles, 'I stomped through blood to get these shoes!'
I just have a problem with... putting plastic shoes on my feet. Too many years being hobbled while fighting plantar facsiitis. Either barefoot or something with rally good structure. Not... plastic.. shoes.
Oh how many ways can we divide ourselves!? But note that many working people like medical workers and kitchen staff wear Crocks -- They are cheap and are safer on hard tile floors.
Girl, if somebody's going to wear those Crocs around me, you better believe they're going to be the butt of my jokes and judgment!!!!! Crocs!!!!!!!!!!!!! WWWWHHHHAAAAATTTT!!!!! Debs..... bring me a gin, with bromide!
Cat as Pope made my day. I dont know if I've ever seen a pair of crocs. I do wear socks and sandles as it is more comfortable and how people do it in Ukraine.
I wear mine all the time. Thereβs a pair by the kitchen door so I can put them on on the way out of the house into the yard, because our southern AZ yard is not friendly to bare feet.
@ Mike -- Yikes! I had not heard of this danger of Crocs and other soft-soled shoes being sucked into escalators! Don't wear them on escalators, people! Thanks for that link.
I hope Maddie has a gin bromide and fainting couch ready when he see this post!

DeleteI've never worn a crock. They don't look particularly comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the interesting post but I had no check for the crocs π
ReplyDeleteAs a child we had the plastic version of crocs. I hated them then and hate them now!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I especially love the DEI and Cinderella ones!
ReplyDeletei refer to the straps at the back of my crocs as "sport mode" - rarely engage them but when i do, you know i mean business!!
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I did was check for the comment from Maddie!
ReplyDeleteThey are HIDEOUS!!
