If only there was a foolproof recipe for happiness and clear guidance about how to hang on to it... but it is as slippery as a just caught fish in a boat and can easily leap back in the water.
If I had a teacup pool, I'd be soaking in it's delicious coolness every day! My strategy has always been to take one day every week to do stuff that I find fun and for the better part of 40+ years, it's worked pretty well.
I have a similar prescription, but mine is 'dogs' . My instant de-stresser is sitting down on the bed to take off my shoes when I get home after work, and getting snuggled by tha dogs. Since they're 45 and 55 pounds each, and'snuggling' means standing on top of me to better get pets and scritches, getting the shoes off is typically a struggle. :-)
I love these. You are my guide!
ReplyDelete...the last one needs to be remembered.

ReplyDeleteI will be spending the day with friends at a campground in the forest today. Seems an appropriate post for the day! Hope your day is relaxing too.
ReplyDeleteThe last message is a big one!
ReplyDeleteI love this. I've been thinking of taking a week off maybe two. I need to recharge.
ReplyDeleteI need some of that prescription today!
ReplyDeleteMuch needed reminder. Thank you:)
ReplyDeleteI could use any or all of those right now.
ReplyDeleteOh yes!
ReplyDeleteThe one about sitting outside, eating a sugary pastry and taking deep breaths!!
XOXO
I definitely need to note the battery levels. I tend to go to the last chirp then wonder why I'm worn out!
ReplyDelete🤗 Oh, Boud, I so agree! My self-care would be much more effective if I used it as a maintenance med instead of as a rescue inhaler!! 🧘♀️
DeleteTake time, and take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteOh I absolutely loved this one dear Debra 🥰♥️👍
ReplyDeleteSo true all. Sadly we understand when it’s bit late but still I am grateful I could get it at least 🤗
The last one had me completely 🥰🤗👍♥️
You rock my friend 👍👍👍🥰♥️

ReplyDeleteOne of these days I'm going to get in the shower and never come out.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite thing about medieval castles is they often contained a strategic "murder hole." Brutal, but one has to admit....
ReplyDeleteThe last one should be remembered.
ReplyDeleteThose tea cup pools are too cute.

ReplyDeleteI'm stealing a couple of these to share.
