If famous composers were cats --
Unbeknownst to me, it turns out that this is an actual piano score! It is called Toc-cat-a in B for Pawiano and was written by Noam Oxman in honour of a cat named Latte! Here is a recording of it --
Thanks to intrepid blogging buddy Jim of Road to Parnassus for researching that meme and letting us know the results! More whimsical animal compositions by Noam Osman are found here.
The first! Oh, and the view inside a violin. Beautiful! Can I live there?
ReplyDelete...Debra, once again you Scored!
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, How am I going to get any work done if you keep sending me over to Youtube?
ReplyDeleteHere is the Toc-cat-a in B played out, apparently by the composer (actually kind of fun):

@ Parnassus (Jim) -- OMG I didn't know this was a real score! Thanks for those marvelous links! I'm going to amend my post accordingly so others can hear it played too. You truly are the King of Researchers, my friend.
DeleteThe one with the car ... π¬π¬π¬
ReplyDeleteHow hilarious that was an actual score!!!
DeleteMaybe, it was all inspired by the cat working the keyboard and Mozart was just transcribing the cats creation?
ReplyDeleteI love the view inside a violin. But think of the noise and vibration!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic piece! Thank you for that!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the VW is stealable! Happy Sunday!
I really do enjoy your memes. And that Toc-cat-a was just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat last one has HRH-the Cat written ALLLLLLLL over it!!!!
ReplyDeleteπΉπ I listened to Toc-cat-a in B while Hubby was in the room. He asked, "what is that? It sounds like two cats running around on a piano." π²π€£ What a successful piece of music if my Hubby can "get" it!! π»
ReplyDeleteI read your post this morning, but didn't have time to comment. Now I find that you've added even more fun!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed most the composers/cats similarities π
