  1. I've stayed in a haunted house, quite an experience that I'd love to repeat someday. Maybe a planned visit, the house we stayed in we didn't know about.

  2. I love the people who spot a ghost in the plughole and take a photo! My sort of people.

  3. That last one is pretty good. I have lived in some creepy places. No ghosts yet though!

  5. The groceries is spot on. My first thought when I see beautiful homes advertised with an imposing flight of steps to the front door. That and a stroller.

  8. ๐Ÿ‘ป I don't watch much "ghost hunter" TV, but I always wanna ask "how come ghosts mumble and whisper so much?" ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿคจ Are the assertive people of the past not haunting anywhere? If you're gonna haunt me, speak the hell up!! ๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  10. I could live with a ghost that screams “ITS BRITNEY BITCH” but not at 3 AM.

  12. I think I'd rather be haunted by a ghost from the 1700s.

  14. Hi Debra, Part of me like the Halloween haunted houses, but part of me is dismayed that so many beautiful, fine old houses, perhaps past the peak of condition, are labeled as "haunted" and thus fair game for demolition or remodeling beyond recognition.

  15. The last one really speaks to me!

  16. Forget the ghosts, scarebnb should be for rentals that don't meet fire or construction codes!

  17. ScareBnB would be huge! SG has been convinced (temporarily) that two of our places were haunted. And a third was a possibility.

  18. I lived in a haunted house in Nevada. They were mischievous. My kids were young and one night the whole house went crazy. I grabbed both kids put them in the truck and drove off. It was pretty interesting.

  21. I'm still cackling.
And I LURRRVE haunted houses stories/movies/the lot. So cool. They scare the hell out of me, too.
And I am going to need that embroidery STAT.

  25. our modern house built 1993 was haunted, we had a lot of activity from electrical appliances switching on/making strange noises and doors slamming. We had our house exorcised and the atmosphere improved greatly, it was a new build for us and we were the only owners, we have now been here 32 years :) Betty

  27. We lived in a haunted house when I was a little girl. As children we would see a figure standing behind the bathroom door regularly. It didn’t seem to be bothered with us so we didn’t bother with him.
That last house is spot on for me. I’m too old and tired to do stairs

  31. If you dont pay your exorcist, you get repossesed. Dont kinow of any haunted houses in Saskatchewan but know of one in Ontario. Very violent family lived there and apparently murdered each other (No not the Donnellys). It was said that violent commotions in the house reultd in fresh blood on the floor.
I've enough Scots-Irish in me that I believe in goulies and ghosties and long legged beasties and things that go bump in the night.

  33. I was thrilled to have once bought a house supposedly haunted but nothing ever happened; it was a disappointment.

  35. That last one might be a good way to deter those annoying Jehovah's Witnesses. I love the one with the flashing lights and sent that on to two of my kids.
